Another narrow defeat - but it’s still a defeat nonetheless and it’s really precarious for Danny now sadly... Once again ahead on possession, shots on and off, hitting the woodwork yet again, another potential over the line... It really has been a hard luck story for the manager, but if Coventry win a game in hand we’re rock bottom and if they win another after that we’re cut adrift there... I think he’ll get to Saturday but another loss and it’ll be a swift end on Saturday evening if he doesn’t consider his position and resign at that point... Not sure what his contract situation is but if he’s got a few years, I can’t see him walking... A shame really the way it’s panned out for a fine fella and club stalwart, but fine margins and all that... Just the wrong guy in the wrong movie at the wrong time I guess... Hoyle has done Schofield up like a kipper.. a bit like he did Phil 🤣🤣

Whatever the attitude problem is, it needs fixing.
We’re back in the goal down, everything is massively uphill mindset.
HT, the Wigan players sprinted off the pitch, our lads just walked off. Didn’t see the Sorba thing with the Ref, but that looked like chalk & cheese with regard to the difference in attitude.
The sum of the parts situation that’s previously served us so well, is currently serving up -5 results. There has to be something else going on with this team for it to be as dreadful as it has been. 4 points from 24 is nailed on relegation form. Even if we were to win the next 2, that would still be relegation form at the ten game marker.

We’ve got 4 points from a possible 15 at home, 0 from a possible 9 away. From where we were a few months ago, and probably the season before last, this must be one of our poorest starts in recent yrs. The old adage “we need to stop the rot” is quite apt. Get it sorted Town, we’re far from being cut adrift, but we’re too much of a soft touch. It’s shite walking up that ramp listening to away supporters celebrating, shame the players can’t experience that… If you class 'recent' years as, say, the last 10 seasons, this is indeed one of our worst starts - but not the actual worst : Over 8 League Games : 19-20 Season - 1 Point (finished 19th) 18-19 Season - 3 Points (no win Relegated) 22-23 Season - 4 Points (one win......) 14-15 Season - 5 Points (finished 16th) 17-18 Season - 8 Points (finished 16th) 15-16 Season - 9 Points (finished 19th) 13-14 Season - 12 Points (finished 17th) 21-22 Season - 13 Points (finished 3rd) 12-13 Season - 14 Points (finished 19th) 16-17 Season - 19 Points (finished 5th) So this is not our worst start to a season, and as above shows, how it ends is often very different to how it begins - three seasons we ended up 19th and started on points ranging from 1 to 14....... UTT

When are Refs going to grow some balls and book for blatant time wasting. Same for Town as well. It kills the game for the supporters, and seems to be getting far worse. Jeremy Simpson was an absolute disgrace today. Booked Thomas at half time for arguing with him, then several times in the second half he was surrounded by Wigan players and no cards shown... I can only hope that Thomas gave him a real zinger to provoke the booking. Something about him being fat and slow and utterly incapable of keeping up with play. Hopefully at the next international break, Sorba can learn a few Welsh insults that will go over any ref's head.Unfortunately most Welsh swear words are too blatantly similar to English, but ... Ffycin twll arswyd (fucking arsehole) asyn ceffyl (horse's arse) mab dall o butain (blind son of a whore) SHould get him started for now

UTT Not that it makes much difference, but we have 4 points this season I'm not having a pop, but anyone clinging to those stats as a hope of staying up is deluded, the problem at our club is t just an inexperienced DS as team coach/manager, it stems from the very top, We need to get Hoyle out, someone must be interested in purchasing Town somewhere, he can't be the only person, He's asset stripped this club, what will it take for him to go

If all of a sudden the likes of Lees and Nicholls are ordinary and a player bangs on the dugout roof so loudly that lots of us thought there’d been an explosion- then yes, badly wrong. If you attend the games live it’s impossible not to notice the atmosphere around this squad and it has been like this all season but getting gradually worse.

Totally disjointed performance again..
Played 5 centre backs at home to Wigan..
Nakayama didn’t have a foooookin scoooby where he was supposed to be..
2 most attacking talents ont bench..
Convinced we have a good squad..
DS should never have got the gig..
Won’t be attending again until he’s gone..
💩💩

The atmosphere was very good second half for a while. I’ve noticed when the crowds drop and it’s the “proper fans” left the booing etc is less. If Rhodes had scored it would have been one of the great nights in the stadium. ffs, here we go again..

He needs to be gone tomorrow but I doubt he will be If he goes who comes? 99.9% of Huddersfield Town fans I’d say... Around that percentage have been creaming themselves for this day to cum for a while now !!!

Simpson last night if we had the ball Jon Moss has viewed the footage on VAR and confirms that the booking was awarded to the player on the floor for diving.
