Who starts for us isn't the main issue, the whole squad are capable of being successful under the right coach.
I want to see a clear plan with each player knowing their role and what they are doing, followed by a positive result. Two key games for Danny, he's a gonna if we don't win at least one of them.

If the players are believing that the performances have been good, as stated by DS in his pre match presser, then he will be gone come Saturday.
Massive improvement is required in all areas and hopefully that starts tonight.

You need legs and energy in midfield, JR has the legs but unfortunately not enough energy to fill the bloody long things. |

Definitely pressure on Danny. Blackpool, Wigan, Cardiff three home games on the spin.
So far 0 pts.
4 from 9 would be okay.
6 from 9 decent.
1 or 2 points from that run of games would be worrying. Hopefully he turns it round.
Tonight he should just play them all in their natural positions.
So far I have watched every game where we have been second best all over the pitch. They need to be in a shift tonight.

Remember going to Sprinfield Park back in the day, what an experience that was!! Think it was 82 when I first went. Couldn’t find the ground. At about 2:30 the team bus went across a junction infront of us. We followed to the ground and paid to park. We never paid to park. When we got to the turnstile I ducked under it do my old man saved paying for me as I knew he was annoyed. Lost two nil. Stood on the grass banking. I was at this match also on the grass bank. One thing I remember is the catering hut only had Kit Kats left at HT. Nothing else left not even drinks. |

We need a win tonight. Desperately. Hopefully Kasumu is fit and can add some energy to an otherwise static midfield.
Of course, just as we need a win, off the back of a disgraceful piece of refereeing the other week, we're given Simpson, a referee for whom an under-9s match would be too big. It'll be a lottery with him in charge, and we can only hope that we get the rub of the green with him. Things like not having a centre-back out cold in the centre circle while the opposition attack.
