I’d take a scrappy 1-0 all day long. Not particularly interested in formation, tactics, team selection. Just 3 points please and thanks.

Also I'll be getting into Huddersfield soon much earlier than normal, what can a non local fan get up to for an hour here? If it were me landing into Huddersfield earlier than expected, I'd be having a beer in the Head of Steam, going to Lalas for my tea and calling in at the Sportsman on the walk down to the ground.

Decent following from Wigan, most pundits fancy Wigan, Danny thinks we have been performing well, poor ref, we need a win, nice day… all sets it for. O-1 I hope not. As we all know, town don’t win on nice days 🤦♂️

I'd like to see Nicholls Mbete Lees Helik Thomas Yuta Hogg Kasumu Rudoni Tino Ward I think we will see Nicholls Turton Yuta Helik Ruffels Hogg Russel Thomas Tino Rudoni Ward Yes to the first team..definitely No to Russell We got Helik and Mbete so play them Rudoni and Hogg in middle if too soon for Kasumu

Helik at least will be playing tonight. I'd be very surprised if he isn't, after 10 days on the training ground.

Looks good enough on paper, let's see how it does on grass
Tino was poor against Blackpool so you can see how he has reached that decision. A good impact player to be able to bring on for the last 30 mins

Much stronger defensively. Great to see Kasumu in.

Wow, a very defensive selection that. Hopefully it manifests in us being able to defend! A lot of creative onus on Holmes Rudoni and Ward. Probably trying to see us through the first hour or so without chucking the game away, and giving the opportunity to make game changing subs later on. If it's 0-0 at 60 minutes I'd back Jones, KKH, and Anjorin to turn it in our favour.

Odds on McClean to be whistling The Fields of Athenry throughout the minute’s silence? 😂

I'm not a religious man, but I've already started praying Kasumu's hamstring holds out.

looks like Schofield has picked a side that basically he hopes does not conceed.
God help us.

Yep, I'm not convinced by it either. It tells me he hasn't found the root cause of our slow starts and is trying to avoid it by being as cautious as possible.

This team looks like the sensible approach considering how many chances we have been conceding recently......all 5 defenders are capable off the ball so if Turton and Nakayama can perform well when we are in possession then I'm hopeful

Looks like the team you'd play away from home in a relegation battle. A team for a coach under pressure, not one who wants to make a statement on the type of football he wants to play. I hope it works to start digging us out of this hole.
