I don't fancy any of these except Wagner and Farke really. Dyche imho has £10m in his sky rocket, is too rich for town and wouldn't tolerate and shit from Brombys department and therefore will be a none starter. David Wagner 1/3 Anthony Barry - 8/1 Liam Manning - 12/1 Duncan Ferguson - 14/1 Michael Carrick - 14/1 Neill Collins - 14/1 Paul Harsley - 16/1 Sean Dyche - 16/1 Daniel Farke - 18/1 Where's Worthy? From being in charge of half time water bottle placement to head coach in 16 hours, the lad's done well

Carrick...surely not He looked as clueless as Ole sat there watching United fall apart. If you can't get quality players like that performing then what chance has he got with our lot That might be very harsh unless its clear he had a lot of say in how they played, team selections etc.

Wagner would immediately get the backing of the crowd and the atmosphere in the ground would instantly be better, but those aren’t in themselves sufficient to justify Wagner being the preferred choice, in my opinion. If DW’s wife (as some have stated on here) is not happy to return to Huddersfield then there is absolutely no way Town should even consider DW. In that circumstance he could only ever be seen as a short-term emergency hire, and the problem is, everyone - the players, the fans, DW and DH, all the other clubs - would know that. I can’t see that scenario having a happy ending.
I don’t know what Dean Hoyle wants from Town. I don’t know what his priorities truly are. Maybe we’ll get an inkling with whoever gets the job?

I think that’s clear He wants his debt repaying - in full But only way he’ll get repaid at par / in full is if we get promoted - nobody would pay him out in full now

I wouldn't be surprised to see Wagner come back until the end of the season. I wouldn't either, but lightning rarely strikes twice and by that I don't mean promotion, more like getting us back on an even keel. Having said that, I'd probably settle for looking like we have some semblance of a plan again, so DW in the short-term might work.

Are people really comparing Carrick and Schofield?
I loved DS as a player but he falls a bit short of someone who has won the PL 5 times, every cup going from League Cup to Champions League, won 34 England caps and played at the World Cup. He's also coached some of the highest profile players at (still) one of the biggest clubs in the world.

The transformation DW made to the squad he inherited was unbelievable. The performances against Sheff Wed and Boro were unrecognisable from the proceeding games.

Wagner has drifted from 1/3 to 1/2 and Anthony Barry in from 8/1 to 3/1. I guess it won't take much money to sway this market though

I’d love Wagner to return but reckon it’ll be the Chelsea guy. Highly thought of and young coach, and probably being pushed out at Chelsea after Potter’s arrival. He’ll be relatively cheap and fits into the young, rookie coach who has to work with the players he’s got, ethos.

I'm afraid I don't know this guy... who is he? Domènec Torrent - Peps old assistant Be worth it for the puns, but he'd be more suited to Bristol Rovers with a name like that.
