Seriously who cares if it saw us actually start getting points on the board. Our players are not suited to that style of play. Do you seriously think hoofing the ball up to either Ward or Rhodes would get us points on the board? Step forward Will Boyle

Well if you're discussing tactics thats something different altogether, it just wasnt obvious in your reply, i replied because it sounded like you didnt want hoofing the ball in the air irrespective of wether it meant a change of fortune or not.

It won't happen but I would love Ferguson here. The players certainly need a rocket up their arses and he would no doubt provide that! And get us to hoof the ball up in the air. That's how he played in his short stints as Everton caretaker manager. No thanks. Have you missed how many flick ons Wardy and JR have been winning ?

Perhaps we should convince DH that to get his money back he should splash out. How about last seasons "Championship Manager Of The Season", surely his "buy out" clause at Luton cannot be that much! You having a laugh? That little taffy twat? No fuckin thanks.

Hoyle is maybe looking for a manager who can get results on a low budget similar to what Carlos did
This might slightly narrow down the applicants

After CC I would have been happy with this. But right now, it is not what we need.
Experience and an older head for me. Someone the players will fear.

I've missed all the great chances we've created from those flick ons. Thankfully, football has generally moved on from kick and chase.

Alan Nixon:
Michael Carrick is in the frame to get his first managerial job with Huddersfield Town.
The former Manchester United skipper has a chance of the Terriers post as one of a handful of candidates for the post.
Carrick was briefly in caretaker charge at United and was also short listed at Burnley before Vincent Kompany got the job.
Huddersfield are also considering managers and coaches in work and want to find the right man in a hurry after axeing Danny Schofield.

And the great chances we've created by playing football on the ground 🤔 We all know we don't create enough chances, but when we do, it's generally from playing the ball around rather than lumping it forward. That all said, whichever style of football we play, our movement and support play has to improve alot. Otherwise, you get slow, ineffective passing, or long balls launched to isolated players.

That would mean dean losing the purse strings

Couple of Rotherham fans reckon Paul Warne is on his way and announced Sunday - surely too early for us to have anything confirmed, but he’s getting backed on skybet
