Why isn’t the Heff on that list, he’d be cheap, and German.

Isn't Barry just a dead ball specialist?

There's some real nobodies on that list and a few not included at all that would be much better choices. Scott Parker is recently out of a job. As is Xisco Muñoz who got Watford promoted.

Dyche as he’d definitely keep us up but definitely unrealistic. So probably Dw.

I’m a little surprised Paul Warne’s name isn’t higher up the betting. I know he’s in work and also has had mixed success but clearly has done a decent job getting Rotherham up twice (?). And also clearly since led them to relegation… Not the peoples’ champion/Messiah option as DW is but should I think be on the list for interview.

Done incredibly well with the squad at his disposal, and very unlucky to go down from the Championship when they were forced to play two games a week for weeks (and Derby broke all spending rules to stay up). Crazy to imagine that Rotherham is a more attractive proposition at the moment!

I think I'm almost at the point where I'd be surprised if it wasn't Wagner - but I may just be reading too much into his recent visit.
He's the obvious choice from that list for me, but it's not a very inspiring one.
Who's managing Dortmund's second team these days?

Sean Dyche would be the dream appointment but there is no way he would wear Hoyle and Bromby's interfering so from that list I would want King Dave but again he would not come back although for personal reasons as his wife would not be happy. I cannot see Paul Warne's name either as he would be a decent shout. From the actual list the only person who I could see actually wanting it and being appointed by the 'safe' hands pair would be ... Narcis Pelach which might mean further instability.

never want to see joke 40's cosplayer Scott Parker anywhere near Town, wearing his fucking ridiculous beige £400 designer cardigans during a heatwave, total dunce. Wagner on the hand. I say yes. 2016 nostalgia ... yes!!! He's a total vibe is Wagner. Even when it went tit's up I never felt any enmity towards him at all.

I'm gonna be very disappointed if it's not Wagner, at this point!
No matter what happened, it'd make following Town (and even the post-match interviews) really engaging again.
He really is something special.
