Great interview give by Leigh Bromby today on Radio Leeds. Loved his honesty and shows how much rubbish is sprouted on social media that isn’t true. Held his hands up and said he got it wrong in appointing Danny Schofield. Leigh mentioned who far he’s backed by Dean too who gets too much stick. Please take twenty five minutes to listen to it. 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️

Oggy and Glennon saying that Wagner was sacked. I thought he walked.
I think if Wagner ends up here Bromby may not be around for long... just a feeling.

Got to admit that although the interview was refreshingly forthright, it sounded to me like he was trying to protect his own role. If a new manager is good enough and has a different direction why shouldn't that be considered?

Man protects his boss in hope of keeping his own job shocker!
To be fair, he deserves to keep his job for what he managed to do last year. Not because of what he has to say now.

Looks like it could be carrick or Barry by the way he was speaking Barry would be a good scoop, especially our Chelsea connection.

I’m a Hoyle In person but I thought he went a bit too out of his way to defend/praise Dean. Sounded forced.
I’d like to hear Dean also come out and take partial responsibility and back Bromby.
They have made a mistake, yes. And it’s forgivable. But the buck ultimately stops at the top, not one step below the top.

Bromby is saying that Schofield was his choice, there’s no ambiguity, that’s what he’s saying happened.

If a new manager is good enough and has a different direction why shouldn't that be considered? Don’t get the issue myself. Stuart Webber is one at the best at his role in the game and he worked with Wagner fine. Need to park the egos at the door.

Sounded like its definitely Wagner from what I was hearing. funny I felt it ruled him out, I agree more likely a Carrick or a Barry He was trying to not talk about him but he did discuss a lot about Wagner helping put the current system in place. I thought it was quite telling when he said “whether that’s David, or whoever” at one point. My money is on DW

I wasn't aware Dave Baldwin (ex Burnley and Football League CEO) was now involved behind the scenes. "Strategic Advisor - Huddersfield Town Football Club" since May according to his LinkedIn.

If you listen to it twice (I know I’m sad) it definitely sounded like Wagner is in the frame.
Bromby kept bringing him back up even when they weren’t talking about him. Also seemed at pains to say that Wagner basically introduced the current structure as opposed to the consensus that he could t work under it.
Meanwhile WBA will sack Bruce soon so we should get a shift on

Don't remember Wagner being sacked, thought he'd told Dean that he wanted to leave at the end of the season, but offered to stay, Dean rejected that approach, thought David left by mutual agreement? - UTT.

If sir David was sacked then re read what’s sir David said to the fans when he left and compare that to CC. If David wagner was sacked he acted like a bloke who was binned by the love of his life and meant when he said we will meet again. CC said, after walking, love you but the fat Greek pays well

Based on the interview, which was fascinating, sounded like David Wagner, Anthony Barry or Michael Carrick - UTT.
