Well what do we think?
I just could not believe the selection, it was as if he thought he could get a tune out of the team ignoring what has gone on previously. The substitutions looked as poor as Danny made and he seems to have dismissed Camara dropping him from the team and then not using him at all. Did he fail to watch any of our previous matches and does he think that the coaches we have know nothing at all?
I hope that this is a big wakeup call to his ego, he needs to get to know the players better listen to people who have been at the club longer than himself.
It is a 1 out of 10 for me, so far.
He has to do better and show some signs of getting at least a dead cat bounce out of these players.
I know he has not had long, but either he needs to sort out who he listens to when picking his team and making substitutes or look at previous matches and working out who can and wants to play for us because we don't have time to keep playing as poorly as we did today.

It's a master stroke, genius of a man first game in charge send a message out to the division that we are shite, to put teams under a false sence of security when we play them, they will not know if they are coming or going.

Ah! I thought we already had a protest thread for the last regime. We could just bump it.

Think we might need one soon. No, what we need is supposed fans like you to go away. Go on, just do one. Go and support Man City or some other winning Team. The Club doesn’t want or need you.

Think we might need one soon. Why don't you just go forth and multiply and instead support another local team like Beeston, Man Shitty or Stretford End? You'll surely be happier.
Supporting Town is a lifelong vocation, it's either in your DNA or not. It's not a retail transaction followed by a complaint or refund at the customer service desk.

Come on lads. If they can’t moan now, when the hell can they?
There will never be a protest. It seems to have departed all our DNA’s. People will just moan and groan, rinse and repeat. They might be the odd kick off at a game, like that bloke with Sorba today but nobody is about to storm the boardroom imo.
This forum acts as a place for folk to sound off. One man’s bullshit it another man’s reality. Just let them go for it.

On the contrary. I want this poster to protest. They'll get some other guys that never come out of their bedrooms and there'll be five of them. They'll spend all week making a banner... "Hoil Out" or 'We Want Our Club Bak", or "Bronby is a Dick", or some such. When they're making these banners their tongues will be out, they're concentrating so much. Their level of intellect is worrying for the future of humankind.

Indeed, but I think the "intellect" of Putin, Medvedev, Lavrov, Zelensky, Biden, Harris, Blinken, Nuland, Stoltenberg and Truss are somewhat more of a worry at the present time...

He deserves time, as desperately poor as today was. What frustrates me is the constant talk of his work with big clubs in Germany, pushing the narrative that we’re lucky to attract someone of his calibre. I’m sure a lot of this has been orchestrated by the club to try to negate the fact that he’s unknown, but it does him no favours. He’s incredibly lucky to have a first managerial role so high up the English pyramid with such a good club. It’s only our complete lack of ambition that has alllowed this to happen. I think this appointment would be a head scratcher for most League One and Two clubs, never mind one so recently in the PL.

I don’t think people care enough to protest now.
Apathy and just moaning are the order of the day.
Compare this to 2007 when folk were on the streets against Davy. The difference is, we’ve been to the top and realise it isn’t all wonderful. We’re £50m in debt and realise there’s no easy fix. We’ve paid 8 figure sums for players who were garbage. We’ve sat at Anfield/Old Trafford/Spurs and realised it’s pretty soulless.
There is no glorious, promised land. There is no perfect redemption. Wherever we are, we’ll be a small town, struggling club who sell our better players, find cheap replacements and moan about our ambition, the future and how we can possibly be competitive.
Shopenhauer was bang on: misery is always more abundant than joy. But that’s what makes the good times even better. You have to enjoy it, and us, for what we are.
I’ve snapped a few golf clubs in my time until I realised I’m not good enough at golf to get annoyed at bad shots. It’s amazing how much more pleasurable it is once you acknowledge that.
Supporting Town is the same. If you can’t take the years of rough to enjoy the glimpses of smooth, maybe it’s not for you?
UTT.

I think it’s like a young German coach returning to Germany and saying I worked with Stoke and West Ham. A foreign team somehow raises the gravitas of the job. Hertha Berlin, ooooooooo, he must be good!!! And all of a sudden, people are meant to be having a cheeky wank over a bloke who coached at two middling clubs. Now is the time is for action. He needs to drill our lads into a cohesive unit. Less of the chat and billing himself up: he has the job and he will be judged on results. We are good enough to stay up but MF has got to put in the hard yards now otherwise we might be toast by the WC break.

You want to protest against a manager for losing his first game? Fuck off you clown, football isn’t for you Some would not have allowed him a game to 'prove' he wasnt up to it, be fair.🤯 Trying to remember the last manager who had a good start with Town, certainly Dave didnt..

Assuming you've watched it, there's a scene in Dead Man's Shoes where Gary Stretch is trying to intimidate Paddy Considine. Paddy makes a "ooooooo" gesture and that's the exact thing I did when I heard that our new boss had been putting the cones out at Hertha Berlin and Ingolstadt before getting the job here.

I’ve just watched the Terry Venables documentary and when at Barcelona the fans made it known he was no longer welcome by waving a white hanky.
It’s far more civilised than we do it but i chuckled as I think some would already be waving them at MF already

Today we saw a backwards step from the previous match.

who and what is this proposed protest against?, there are clubs in a lot worse position than town are in. if you want to protest go down to downing street and protest at the state the country is in. we know how the club is going to be run from now on and it wont change with the current board. judge the new manager after a few games and just hope and pray we avoid the drop.
