Who changed the thread title it was originally titled something like "One game in thoughts on the manager" I'm guessing there's been a thread merger. As your post doesn't fit with the title. Then further down there's a post that doesn't fit with how the thread started.

Some would not have allowed him a game to 'prove' he wasnt up to it, be fair.🤯 Trying to remember the last manager who had a good start with Town, certainly Dave didnt.. Wagner absolutely did. Fine, the results didn't come, but the performances and attitude were hugely different to anything we'd seen under Powell before him. Today we saw a backwards step from the previous match. Remember getting arseholed at least twice when Dave started here? Think Brentford got 5 here? The 'attitude' took a bit longer, some Germans and a clear out. This bloke has been brought into a different situation. Needs a few games and proper look at who is playing and how we are playing. Cant throw myself and the club off a high building yet..

I don’t think people care enough to protest now. Apathy and just moaning are the order of the day. Compare this to 2007 when folk were on the streets against Davy. The difference is, we’ve been to the top and realise it isn’t all wonderful. We’re £50m in debt and realise there’s no easy fix. We’ve paid 8 figure sums for players who were garbage. We’ve sat at Anfield/Old Trafford/Spurs and realised it’s pretty soulless. There is no glorious, promised land. There is no perfect redemption. Wherever we are, we’ll be a small town, struggling club who sell our better players, find cheap replacements and moan about our ambition, the future and how we can possibly be competitive. Shopenhauer was bang on: misery is always more abundant than joy. But that’s what makes the good times even better. You have to enjoy it, and us, for what we are. I’ve snapped a few golf clubs in my time until I realised I’m not good enough at golf to get annoyed at bad shots. It’s amazing how much more pleasurable it is once you acknowledge that. Supporting Town is the same. If you can’t take the years of rough to enjoy the glimpses of smooth, maybe it’s not for you? UTT. This post should be pinned to the top of the board

You may want to ask this question to the OP as he appears to live in a deluded world whereby after one (1) game his toys have left his pram.

Cant throw myself and the club off a high building yet.. We got arseholed by Fulham twice in our promotion season, one of them a month before the play off final, but it wasn't indicative of the progress under Wagner. We struggled for enough results in 2015/2016 to see progress in the table, and yes, a lot of that will have been down to personnel; but it's without doubt that we saw progress from his first game against Boro and then Wednesday away. We didn't have the fitness, unfortunately, to play his style for 90 minutes, but we definitely had the plan. Did MF show any semblance of a plan yesterday? No. But of course, it's too soon to judge.

I'm fine ta, treacle. You may want to ask this question to the OP as he appears to live in a deluded world whereby after one (1) game his toys have left his pram. I'm not taking a side here and acknowledge the OP was quite a childish one but I think the fans apathy and frustration happened in the summer when one manager left (some claim because he wasn't backed others say he was leaving anyway) then the powers that be put Schofield in charge who has zero experience. Then after that we put a near identical style appointment in charge. There's a saying about repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome.

Fairly ridiculous post.
Lots of abusive thrown the posters way, which is probably not called for.
You can’t judge him on game.
What is more worrying is how shit some of our players are though. Didn’t somebody say yesterday that only 3 players that played at Wembley were in the starting 11 yesterday. That’s shocking.
Cheap recruitment from lower leagues will only end up one way. Relegation.
Nichols - desperately out form Turton - average Yuta - way off the pace yesterday. Jackson looked much better. Helik - clearly not match fit. Lees - average. Kasumu- did his job I thought. Russell. - lazy how he gets a shirt is beyond me. Watch the third goal and see him just stop and walk. Had the ball come back out the reading player to his left would have had tap in. Thomas. - much better in the right. Out in some great crosses which nobody got on the end of. Holmes - totally anonymous. Rudhoni - zero end product. Still no goals or assists.
Rhodes. Lots of bustle. No end product. Ward - same. Had one shot that he completely mis kicked.
Pretty dire reading.

The merging of this thread is as shambolic as our performance yesterday. Agree. Makes it unfairly look like goodbet was wanting a protest whereas his thread was a totally different subject.

You want to protest against a manager for losing his first game? Fuck off you clown, football isn’t for you Some would not have allowed him a game to 'prove' he wasnt up to it, be fair.🤯 Trying to remember the last manager who had a good start with Town, certainly Dave didnt.. In this division, Steve Bruce (although he lost his first match, of course).
