I agree, everyone from top to bottom, the fans, players, everyone was together, and it helped create what we achieved that season. Don't think anyone can deny that as a club, we had something special that season, and absolutely everyone throughout the club being together meant that, arguably, what we had was greater than the sum of the parts. It was special and I think DW would bring some of that back. There is a negative legacy post Prem that we didn't have then though. I hope, if he returns, that we can get past that and get that old fire back again. I think we have the players to do that, with the right guidance, and possibly an addition or two in January.

3 days later we beat Leeds with a Hef last minute winner. In that period we won 6 games in a row, including the 3-2 at Rotherham on valentines day.

One of the best games we had in the champ was the 3-1 home win against Brighton who went up automatically. We demolished them. We then hit 4 past Watford and Bornmuff in prem in 1st season. Far from boring.. 100% agree re the Brighton game, we were on another level. I've said ever since that night that nobody in the league could have lived with us in the first half of that game. It was arguably the best 45 minutes I've seen us play. Incredible performance and totally agree. Probably the best 45 mins I’ve ever seen. Was it a Thursday night as well???

Being shit hard to play against and grabbing a few goals wouldnt be a problem for me for the next 10 games or so, just till one or two new lads get right on their feet and Pearson gets back. Then move on ..

Far from boring.. My dad and I sat in the Gas Club after that game and we were both gobsmacked at how we had dominated a game against a top side in the league. We didn't speak for ages, just sipping at our pints.

Bruno should have walked in the first 5 minutes Agree, Bruno should have been sent off (I think it was actually within the first 90 seconds), BUT if he had been sent off I doubt we would have had the pleasure of witnessing what I consider to be THE best ever performance I’ve personally ever seen from Town; if he’d have been sent off Brighton would have gone into damage limitation mode and the game could have become very frustrating.

We were awful in the Premier league. The second season the club threw the towel in, great football wasn't it At Start December We were 1-0 up v Brighton prior to that red card - heading 14th That was after having just beaten Fulham home 1-0, drawn with West Ham home 1-1, won away at Wolves 2-0 7 points from 9, should have been 10 from 12 - It was anything but awful The following 5 weeks everything went wrong which could have done Agree after that it was awful & the club threw the towel in Should have beaten West Ham too. That shot cross that hit both posts...

Nope, we move on to try and win games by more than one goal and shithousing for long periods. We may try to be more expansive?

Pretty much ruled himself out of it Love it when people rule themselves out of something they were never in the frame for. A new contract for Mr Schumacher is probably on its way thanks to the leverage he created.

At this moment in time it looks like a fair few fans will be slightly underwhelmed Cannot in a million years see us going for someone underwhelming as it is critical the club gets the fans back onside. It's already toxic and getting someone in that isn't proven/a fan favourite would create an apathy that would be hard to remove.

I’d suggest that many on here are hanging their hats (and placing their wedge) on it being Wagner. If it is anyone else, almost certainly going to be underwhelming.

Could we wait for Wagner if for one reason or another he can’t join until November? Could Chicho hold the fort? Or if that’s the case do we just move on? We wait Worth waiting for the right man for me. Be a gamble given we may have to wait 5-6 weeks but imagine the anticipation building up til a possible announcement. Meantime we have to hope the guy in charge can hold the ropes 🤞
