I’ll believe it when Maynard confirms it thanks Wagner isn't coming going to have to get used to the idea and quickly. I’m used to being let down by this club and owner. I’ll just point out Gag and bone man thought Dyche would be an option. Can’t tell me he knows anything at all.

I know anyone who creates an account solely to claim to be "ITK" probably knows the square root of fuck all. And I know the deal is off. Not happening. 100% I’ll believe it when Maynard confirms it thanks I'll scweam and scweam until I'm thick if I can't have Dave back 🙄🤣

Great What a PR disaster this has been for the club Could have been avoided if the press/club had said wagner will not be returning Now, again the club is a serious risk of alienating floating support who was interested in wagner, but instead is getting the cowdenbeath assistant manager Ridiculous. Why would the club explicitly state that a manager is NOT getting the job. When has that ever happened?

But perhaps the club should've been proactive on reading the room and done it on this occasion to manage expectations.

Not happening. 100% I’ll believe it when Maynard confirms it thanks But if you're "ITK" you won't need Maynardblue to comment either way. Like the time you said Josh Murphy would be announced imminently, or that Sol Campbell was lined up as gaffer.

It seems the club were happy to have the idea of Wagner returning to float around as it bought them time and space to do their searching. The fans were happy to wait thinking there were complications to iron out but the end result would be worth it.
Now it’s (apparently) not the case it seems a bit daft.
I’m picturing Bromby as Shermanator from American Pie: happy to have everyone think he’s getting some action from someone everyone wants, but ultimately getting found out as full of sh*te. Possibly about to wet himself.

Talk about damned if you do and damned if you don’t. The club have, as far as I can see, not mentioned anyone. It’s all idle speculation by fans and randoms on social media.
DW, as far as I can see, was only top of the list because he visited a few weeks ago as a guest, is not currently working and lots of folk would like to see him back.
They appear to be, as they said, working hard to get the right person. That is someone they want and is willing to join with the structure we have. Plus doing it in a very short time frame.

The interview the Bromby did might as well have ended with the words "I want to appoint David Wagner, seeing as it's his structure we've setup". That's the problem the club have got if they don't appoint DW. It would have been easy for someone within the club to have let be known that DW wasn't in the running if that was the case. Unless they've all been fast asleep for the last week they could see what's been happening, the expectation has been building that it would be DW and it doesn't look like it will be. New managers get a bit of leeway at the start, 'big name' managers get a bit more, Wagner would have got even more as well as galvanising the club and most of the supporters instantaneously. Fotheringham will get less leeway because he's not Wagner and that's down to Bromby/Hoyle.

Surely the club have a duty to comment on every rumour, made up story, complete lie as to who they are going to employ or not employ.

Scarlet wont rub that much oil into you in that time? She seems fairly busy, you might get a quick rub down with a damp copy of the radio times from Anne Widecombe if your really lucky?? Aim lower, avoid disappointment like Town😉

Seems pretty obvious that Wagner was 1st choice..
But for woteva reason they couldn’t agree a deal..
Thus the new man will know that the chairman and most of the fans wanted someone else..
Needs to get off to a good start..
Or it will go downhill quicker than franz klammer..
