Wagner is willing to come back and Dean definitely wants him too. There’s an issue with wages he’s still owed from his last club Young Boys that’s holding any potential deal up. I wouldn’t expect an announcement any time soon. Think that was mentioned on the Pod. Young Boys are technically still paying him a wage or something? Can see it being a bit of a ballache to sort.

They pay his wage until he gets another job in football or they agree to a severance package.

I still received more information today suggesting DW doesn’t look to be coming back at this time, despite DH trying to make it happen. This part / information is not from the club but from Wagners side. I really do hope I am wrong and something changes, DW coming back would be the lift the club needs ATM

They would pay up Wagners contract after sacking him, but not usually in a lump sum because usually it's only valid until he gets another job..so they'd likely pay him every month as he was as an employee. Maybe he's due a payment, or there was a 3 months severence complication, in any event it's in YB interests to let Wagner take up another job asap, you'd think.

If we decide to bin off the current model to give Wagner what he’d want, then we should have just done that for Corberan in the first place. I think Corboran would have left regardless. He got poached for a top European job IMO. Stay at a championship club with a smaller than average budget who couldn't even come close to selling out Wembley for a promotion decider.. or go to a country's biggest club that get 60,000 for home games and have an almost guaranteed spot in the champions league every season? It's not like we took 15k to Wembley or something; and as others have said you're totally off on Olympiacos. Bloody hell, what is it with us and wanting to lower the status of our club.

Had breakfast at Daves this morning, then went for a game of squash and some light shopping with the family, not a peep about joining/ not joining Town. Must be somebody closer than me we could hear from on the subject???😉

It's only the same as corporate companies interviewing 15 people for one finance position for example - You screen CV's for your favourites but still interview more as a safety net. Football is no different.

If we decide to bin off the current model to give Wagner what he’d want, then we should have just done that for Corberan in the first place. I’m not convinced anything we’d have done would’ve kept him here, the biggest club in Greece is a fairly big draw especially for someone whose already worked in that part of the world. it's not going too well for him there, but whichever way you look at it we could never have competed with a side that can bring James Rodriguez and Marcelo in, whether we gave him full control or not

It sounded like we took 15 !! It was a poor effort in terms of the thousands of empty seats for such a monumental game. I get people are watching their brass, but thats the same everywhere. There arent many clubs in our division that wouldn't sell out for that game and we're one of them. It doesnt make any difference really whether you have 35k there or 70k there if theyre all going to sit in silence throughout. Theyre no help to the team either way. Yes I was out with Olympiacos's crowds, but theyre not really on the same level of football as us. Dont think acknowledging that is lowering our status at all. When we were in the PL id have said we were on a higher level then them, even without the European football they have.

It makes out the regular champions of Greece and annual champions league qualifiers are a bigger draw to a manager than Huddersfield in the 2nd tier. Anything else obvious you want me to point out that you can misunderstand?

They pay his wage until he gets another job in football or they agree to a severance package. Right, so yesterday a Netjets private charter plane flew into Leeds from an obscure place in Germany, Kassel. Then today a Netjets private charter plane flew out to Bern. Probably nothing and there's many a reason why those planes could be making those flights.

The bit about nowhere near selling out Wembley yet why were we able to do so or very closely do so for reading ( as we asked for the increased allocation). No need to put the potential of our club down, to win your argument. Your point about the Greek club couldn’t care less, only one club is of any concern to me .
