He’s a fuckwit, but he is right 😂 If he spoke like he hadn’t just done 5 lines then he’d be known for being a good head coach and not a crackhead He's not right though; he's one of the most blinkered managers there is, constantly bigging up himself and his team. They were far from 'magnificent' last night or they'd have beaten us comfortably. He referred to our goals as totally avoidable and shouldn't have been conceded because they were from set pieces yet totally ignored the fact that all 3 of their goals were also completely avoidable due to poor defending. The man is a deluded idiot who looks like he's one game away from a heart attack if he doesn't calm himself down. He’s a legend in his own mind. They’d win every game if they took all their chances and didn’t concede any. Proper little weirdo he is. Bemoans his sides defending for our goals whilst not even acknowledging some of the worst defending I’ve seen in a long time which led to their goals. I can’t do with those managers that talk like every goal they score is a managerial masterclass and every goal they concede is an individual mistake or a set piece. |

We would have beaten Reading on Saturday if they’d not spoilt it by scoring 3 goals.
Other than that and the general play we were the best side and should have won 1-0.

Isn't defending set pieces part of the game? Always was in my mind therefore, they deserved 3-3.
Also, their third goal, I think it was Jackson, couldn't put his head in because of a high boot, they got away with that for me. Maybe 50/50 but it went their way.
They had a lot of chances and on another day they would win that but they didn't so, jog on and work on your defending for the rest of this week.

Regarding the match itself, he's not really wrong is he though? Apart from, as Huddshroom points out above, he failed to recognise that if we'd have defended properly we'd have kept a clean sheet and despite them having 11 shots on target we'd have won the game. I believe we had more possession, more passes and better pass accuracy. Although I'm not sure if that was down to our usual pissing around with it at the back as I only watched about 25 minutes of the game. We didn't piss about with it at the back. On quite a few occasions we tried to play out from the back, but the good performance of the midfield meant we were able to move it through the thirds quickly and sharply. I think this is what MF was referring to in his post-match comments about seeing more of the style he wants. Our passing wasn't perfect, but it was better. Much better than Luton's because they didn't attempt to pass the ball. They just whacked it up the pitch at every opportunity. Sadly, this one-dimensional approach was enough to cause us plenty of problems. |

I think he is wrong regarding the match, he's deluded if he thought they were magnificent for 95% of the game. They were better than us but we all know that means sod all from where we are coming from at the moment. Completely wrong about last season too, we were the better team over 2 legs & fully deserved to go through. See you next tuesday, Jones. |

He's presumably fine with the penalties we didn't get in the play-offs against them. Toffolo about to head it in 5 yards out after 10 seconds, shoved to the floor and no penalty. There were at least a couple of other good shouts but that was as blatant as they come.
