Thanks. First missed home game for many years for me. Even the terrace stalwarts are deserting the club now. i think it will be a sparse crowd tomorrow for some reasons!!

What is the Rhodes apology thing about? Rhodes apparently apologised for not scoring a couple of goals after the game in Saturday

"I've got my Japanese centre back, who's a fantastic boy and played well against Hull, not gunna go and head the ball. For me, Matty Pearson heads the ball clear"
Whilst talking about mistakes that leave players out. This guy is a recipe for disaster. You can't just hang players out to dry at the rate he is, especially when he is more or less unknown.

Bit too honest there, But the system we want to play needs 3 proper CBs, a LB filling in at CB got caught out. Matty Pearson a proper CB deals with the ball and the man, No doubt. Hes hamstrung with the squad he has availiable, he wants to play 3 at the back, hes got 2 CBs, He wants to play 2 up top, he has 2 fit strikers over 30 and probably not that complimentry. Short of a CM and short of a LWB/LW, although Camara and Jackson have done well. Get Hoggy, Pearson and hopefully Tyrese back in he has a limited squad but probably an 11 he can trust.

A little unfair on Yuta to hang him out to dry for the second when his CB partner made a mess of the first. He'll lose the dressing room quickly if he drops all players after making a mistake.

Yet we sold out at Rotherham on saturday? and 18400? vs Hull, granted not everyone would have turned up, but not sure your theory is quite right, seems a little more suport and interest with fozzy if anything, more people are tuning into his press conferences, thats for sure.

I don't see that as hanging a player out to dry, more very clear instructions on how he wants him to play. Equally, should Nakayama next time head it clear but then it flys back into the net from an opposition player hanging outside the box, I expect MMF to say that is what he has asked his defenders to do.

Wrong I went to Rotherham with my lad, we are both not too bothered about tommorow night, will probably go but the desire is very low. It was a good following but the first local away game this year, and we didn’t sell out . But Christ if we can’t take 2300 to a local game in the championship we are fucked. We were taking 3500 years ago when we were mid table and shit in div 1 to millmoor . The average home support isn’t attended it’s sold just like Tuesday will be also. The club is meh ! At the moment. Our average support away hasn’t been as bad for decades.

The club is meh ! At the moment. Our average support away hasn’t been as bad for decades. I’ve also just read your thread on the lack of atmosphere at home, so thought I’d add this . That’s because people are just meh!!! about the club at this moment I know I’ve supported us for donkeys years and I’m surrounded in life by family, friends and work colleges who have great passion in this club, but mostly all feel very little at this time. The atmosphere in the away end was shit on Saturday because people feel it within themselves your turning up because the club is in your heart but it’s literally meh!!!!

Will people leave the guy alone. Seriously, some of your comments on here are more cringe than the 'cringe'he speaks.
A few things town fans have moaned about for years.
1. Played 2 up top. 2. Play some of these youngsters. 3. Wish we had someone who didn't accept we are 'little' Huddersfield Town.
1. People moaning that 2 up top is the reason we are letting goals in. 2. People moaning about him playing youngsters over more senior players. 3. At least this guy is saying where he wants us to be and that is where we should be, play offs.
Constant twisting of his words. The bit about Yuta was an observation and what he is wanting. It is nowhere near hanging him out to dry.
People starting rumours over fall outs. Hogg and Pearson are injured. Nothing more.
We didn't get Wagner, get over it.

You can't just hang players out to dry at the rate he is, especially when he is more or less unknown. First thing I noticed about his press conference. I've no idea what type of character Nakayama is but as a new player getting used to a new team and new country I was amazed that MF said that. MF seems a very likeable character but he does seem incredibly niaive at times. If a player makes a mistake, try and work out why, have a word (harsh or encouraging) in private - don't publicly hang him out to dry. Again, I listened to his descriptions of the Rotherham match - why we didn't win 5-6 nil I've no idea - our front 5 were causing them problems all night. Still, MF twice said how delighted he was that the supporters sang his name...

There's no doubting MF's passion & desire to succeed but there's no point in holding any further press conferences, he doesn't answer any questions just repeats stock phrases over & over about his young players, his older players, how tough training is, how people making repeated mistakes won't be in the starting line ups. I liked his first presser but everyone since is just the same, I hope he's not a one trick pony. He seems to think we have a very potent front 5 & we'll be fine if we stop making mistakes. I hope he's right but I'm not seeing it right now, I thought we were ok 1st half on Saturday, but only ok, we were awful 2nd half & the subs were strange & totally ineffective.

I think for me iv no issues with most of what he says and I do think the players need a kick up the arse and not a soft touch.he probably has to be the same in public as he is behind closed doors as sends a consistent message to the players. Think as he settles in the quotes and banging the drum type stuff will also settle down. Think we just need to stick with him and see where we are a few weeks after World Cup break. For me we aren’t great but neither are we a million miles off,few bits come together and we will start picking points up.

I got a season ticket this year for me and my daughter who has just turned 11. The only thing making me go tomorrow night is spending some quality time with her. To be honest I'm completely losing interest in the team now.

If that is what people are interpreting from it, end of the day they are in the public eye. Don't like criticism find another career where its dealt with differently. The money they earn should make up for it.

I think it's the fact we have gone from an era of fan engagement and excitement to a complete communication vacuum. Things are dire on the pitch and the manager aside there doesn't appear to be any motivation from those in charge to re-energise and motivate the fan base. Poor performances, league position and lack of communication combined is leading to a real apathy amongst the fans. To me it feels like if they aren't bothered then why should we be. I don't blame MF, he was offered the job and he took it but it appears the club have missed out on a real opportunity here to get the fans back on board. He isn't high profile enough and his football isn't exciting enough to be offered the same level of backing as a more fan friendly manager would. I still cannot at all get my head around the three year contract. It's bonkers and we seem to be making bad decision after bad decision at boardroom level.
