I’ve said all along our model doesn’t work in the Championship.
Spending a fortune on 18 year old cast offs from other clubs will just pump out loads of League 2 players where no one signs for a fee. Think we had 20 odd players out on loan at one point, not one with any chance of been future Championship players.
It might work in League One but i’d imagine that is the first place cuts would be made. Followed by manning that stupid garage at Canalside entrance guarding a building no one wants to get into.

Been told that the Dutch are in the box seat and Admin should be announced before Friday. The Dutch bid personally worries the hell out of me. What an actor haha.

A deal getting closer with the Americans Has this guy got any track record of being ITK? No, it's a rebrand of blueandwhiteterrier1 relying on vagueness and guesswork unfortunately!

We are on a smaller scale than Newcastle. They made a profit every year during his reign. He just didn't pump money in and waste it. Could be something as he is good mates with Davy.

Could be something as he is good mates with Davy. I also don't get the hate for Ashley. He put money in when it was needed, mostly through sponsorship and was pretty successful on the back of it. Newcastle have spent plenty since and still won bugger all so far. If a successful business person were to own the club, any losses can be used as a tax write off. That's much more difficult to do if it's owned by a rich benefactor, however rich they are.

Ashley was at Rangers for a bit but was and is still hated for his tenure there... His crime - to try to run the business as a profitable one. He was though dealing with the most entitled and unrealistic support in The western world (my sister is one) -
He eventually got railroaded by several factions ganging up against him - but they chased away a genuine billionaire because he wouldn’t play Mr Sugar Daddy...
Whatever immoral practices he uses on his employees, he is a successful businessman and perhaps if he took over HTAFC then his business accumn could be beneficial to Town -
It would be a left field takeover but knowing Town I’d best be prepared for anything and everything happening !

So who the hell knows… Think there’s definitely info getting out there to the contrary.whether it’s true who knows,it could be getting out there intentionally, again who knows. Luckily I think it’s coming to a head now.Whether I’ll agree with the decision who knows but I’ll definitely be happy it’s over and don’t with.

I wonder how close we are to all the potential new owners (I am not ITK hence I know not who they are other than what has been reported and/or discussed on here) walking away from any deal?

I am definitely not ITK (used to have a good source) but now getting info second hand from people close to the club. But I have been involved in plenty of takeovers and acquisitions. As poster above says, there’s always points where bidders go quiet, sometimes tactically, sometimes not. And there’s often tactical leaking of correct or incorrect info that goes on by both sides to flush others out or for brinkmanship purposes. We won’t know until it’s done but, as you say, it’s definitely coming to a head this week so we should probably brace ourselves for more turbulence in the short term.
In any case UTFT ❤️

If it's the billionaire Yanks 🤔
Argentina forward Lionel Messi, 35, will be offered 220m euros (£193m) per year to move to a Saudi Arabian club when his Paris St-Germain contract ends in the summer. (Marca - in Spanish)
