You cant wear lots of things or badges etc .. Why do we think we are above these rules due to 'our being righteous' Just dont fucking play the game? This half righteous bollocks from us is pretty odd when you hear from so many here what a small, insignificant, crappy country we are? ?

If Kane wears it and gets booked then my guess would be none of the other captains would wear it. Virtue signalling is fine but if it comes at a cost they wont want to know. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63699477And there we are. Maybe it's time to stop all this posturing and just play football.

I'm sure the national associations anticipated this outcome from the beginning. It doesn't really matter whether they wear them or not now.

If we were so offended, we should have boycotted it. If we’re happy to go, just get on with it.

Should never have been in Quatar and countries should have boycotted it years ago it's not about enjoying watching the best players in the world playing in the world cup anymore too much politics and money involved. I just want to watch some good football

The fa have spent years telling us how they are going to use the tournament to change the world to a better place. Harry Kane for months doing the same. Then at one threat they’ve folded. It’s all just pandering to the wokes And then oh we can’t do it cos we’ll get booked. Utter nonsense

Do it properly. Pull out of the tournament and the World will take notice... it may be a defining moment. Just stop this virtue-signalling shite, which also may have the added bonus of commentators not giving us a lecture on what an awful place Qatar is. But remember... Qatar is our friend, they are ramping up LPG shipments to keep us from freezing this winter.

Englands Premier League. Highest Wages. Most tv money. Sold to more countries around the world. Biggest transfer fees on average.
From such a small, insignificant country on the world stage today??
The truth is we only have influence in football if the money wanted it.
They clearly just want to stay on everybodys side..
Half arsed and we just blame FIFA???

What if they all wore the rainbow laces 🤔 Why dont these european FAs come together and just agree to wear it as was planned. Ill tell you why not. Nothing to do with getting booked. its because they've been pandering to the subject all along. they dont really care. How many subs do you get? Start with the third choice keeper as captain then sub him. i cant believe i am now arguing for them to do it lol. But its exactly as i expected. Just words

Lets all break the alcohol laws and the clothing laws around the streets and the hotels. Give the workers union cards and organise strikes and the straight fans try to pull single Qatari women who are walking about, never mind the male family member, punch him in the face perhaps, then let your new bird drive the hire car? If we are going to try and flout the laws out there, lets fucking go for it rather than wearing an armband???🤪

I wouldn't want to be a junior employee, or a cat in FIFA's offices for the next few weeks...
Maybe the legacy of Qatar will ironically be the cleansing of that set of corrupt bastards?
I won't hold my breath of course...

I just want to watch some good football The only reason it shouldnt have been in Qatar is because they obviously bribed FIFA to win it,, and because of the disruption it causes to everyones league season. The ethical reasons dont actually tally with it being the 'WORLD' cup. the 'world' includes a lot of islamic countries, and whether we like it or not islamic countries have attitudes and laws based around their religion that dont match modern western values. If youre going to ban islamic countries from hosting the event, then it isn't the 'world' cup anymore... its the' world aligned with western liberal values cup'... bit of a mouthful !

I won't hold my breath of course... The premier league has the monetary influence on world football, if it chooses to use that influence. Its clearly trying to play both sides of the money as it will have a great deal of 'interest' in the world cup. The only answer is actually down to the players who have no contractual agreement to play for England or any other country, they will have extra payments built into their club contracts should they be selected or play for England and susequently their value and future wages will increase significantly. England will be contractually obliged to attend the world cup via the FAs agreement with FIFA, but not the players.

Think Qatar are actually banned from the next World Cup anyway. Might have to quadruple the teams involved to give Qatar a slim chance of qualifying anyway??

Well done Quater. At the Senegal game they managed to cram nearly 42000 into a stadium that holds 40000. Apart from the H & S issues this causes a lot of the fans seemed to be dressed as empty seats !!

Am I reading it wrong or is he likening the Qatar's treatment of migrant workers and LGBT people to him being bullied at school for having ginger hair? Sounds like it, anyone called ginge, speccy, fatty, jug ears etc at school is the same as people being killed in large numbers becasue of dodgy practices on building sites in countries where you have very few rights. Heard that he lives in Doha, so probably doesn’t want to upset his landlords…… tosser

Wales are awful. Cannot see the point in playing Keiffer Moore when they have no one in the squad who can put in a decent cross.

US keeper drops the ball without anyone touching him, a Yank goes in with a boot at head height as a Wales lad goes to head it and this prick gives the Yanks a free kick 🤬
