We didn't really create much in that game. 2 penalties and a Maguire header was about it.
Crosses on the whole were poor all game.
A big missed opportunity, because I didn't think the French were all that. However they created the better chances.

France were not better than us tonight. Difficult to look past Kane for missing the pen. That's obviously what cost us. Mbappe barely did a thing. Their winning goal was lucky.

We were the better team in the second half and except for the goal matched them in the first half. The brilliance of Griezmann was the difference. I can't fault them, they played well just fell short on the night.

Done it before, gained the upper hand then given it back.
Its tough to watch because you know its coming, definite tactic that rarely, rarely works. France are good from half way, if you allow them they will play, at the back they looked suspect when run at and in possession, if you make it easier for them you make trouble for yourself.
Centre forward cannot have a free header from 4 or 5 yards once you clear the ball, he is blocked off or offside, we did neither.
