I hate hearing refs actively trying to not give a card early. It doesn't matter what time of the game it is, if it's a yellow card offence then its a yellow card. You watch Premier League football and refs let loads go and then the clock ticks over to 70 and it's like someone has just handed them their cards. It's not like its an accumulation either as subs will get booked for their first offence which is usually something very soft compared to what was let go earlier in the game |

Yep, it's moronic. Shows how wrong the system is that nothing is done to correct this situation. It shows no ref is truly impartial, they all have an inbuilt dialogue and bias. It's why I have so much dislike and zero respect for them.
Respect the ref? Fuck off. Hows about they do their job properly and impartially and the respect will come naturally.

Amazing performance. Totally dominated France so far. Strange tournament. I backed Argentina to win it, but had pretty much written that off after the opening game when they lost to Saudi Arabia.
