Think Bob's done a typo, assuming he means Paul Harsley who came into coach whilst Schofield was in charge. Got to me honest, I remember them announcing they'd brought in another coach but didn't know his name until I googled it. LOL I spent 20 minutes looking through past threads because I DID remember us signing someone as a coach with a similar name. hes put us all in a jam!!, turned us into jelly!!

At long last, someone connecting Huddersfield Town to Stenhousemuir. We’re going places…. Back in the late 1960’s Town were very close to signing Russell Halliday from the Warriors. Little known fact. Love a bit of Stenny. Went and watched them against Annan Athletic last season. Unreal half-time pies! Wasn't there once a team in the local leagues called "Deanhousemuir"?

Presumably this is Fotheringham bringing in his 'own man' now he's had time to settle in. Scroll down to see the 2020-22 Scottish intake onto the UEFA Pro course...Fotheringham and Miller will no doubt have spent some time together in the collective parts of the course... www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/uefa-pro-licence-lineup-announced/(amazing almost a quarter of those on this round of the course with the Scots FA now have some kind of link with Hudds). where as this been made official?!!

We'll be all wearing Kilts next Well I guess that I could wear Ferguson and McKenzie or Anderson and Turner from ma maw and late daddy’s side and their late parents as well... Definately not tonight though - Got half an hour to go on a very rough ferry and I’m outside on deck five and it’s Baltic !🏴 ❄️❄️❄️ 🏴 If one was a ‘true Scotsman’ (The kilt with nothing on underneath) out here tonight it would freeze one’s anatomy off - I guess the only connection left to Willie would be if one was called that !!!

Love a bit of Stenny. Went and watched them against Annan Athletic last season. Unreal half-time pies! The ground has totally changed over the years and unfortunately lost a lot of its character. I was always fascinated by the club as long as I can remember and I’ve fortunately seen half a dozen games over the years at Ochilview. Larbert….. huge metropolis. Yep - Decent footy club... Hope they have a nice season - apart from when the play the remaining three matches v The mighty Dumbarton FC though ! The Sons o’ The Rock beat The Warriors of Stenny 3-1 @ Ochilview in the third game of the season on their way to a club record seven wins in a row ! They do it all again in a few weeks in Dumbarton on 17th December ! 🥃 👍

Surprised at the light heated nature of this thread based on someone losing their job. I guess if true its a case of last in first out and shows the life of a football coach in league football is a precarious one at best. Highly rated at man city I hope he is not out of work for to long especially coming up to Christmas

If he was sacked, he will have got compensation too. It is a but of an odd one though, only brought in around at the start of the season.

Highly rated at man city I hope he is not out of work for to long especially coming up to Christmas There'll be many thousands of people losing their jobs over the next 12 months I would imagine as the recession kicks in; the vast majority of whom won't be getting a nice pay off over the remainder of their contract to tide them over until they find another job. True it's sad but I'm sure he'll be fine compared to those living in the real world.

It's only natural MF wants his own staff. There's an irony in how much the hiring and firing must have cost, since CC left, that isn't lost on me but it is what it is.
If it's Kenny Miller, and we get the points we need to stay in the league then happy days. If we don't I can't see it's going to be his fault we failed.
The next few months are all about everyone, and I mean everyone, pulling in the same direction. If this change helps then it's a good call.
Best wishes to PH, he's probably thinking he's better off out of it, and I'm sure he'll get another job.

No, that was just a petition raised by prepare/positive for Town's name change in honour of DH When Dean finally gets full sale of HTAFC he might want to have a shot of running a club in Scotland... If it was Stenhousemuir I wonder would he consider changing the name to Stenhoylemuir !!!

Best wishes to PH, he's probably thinking he's better off out of it, and I'm sure he'll get another job. Nor me. Miller was a prolific striker wherever he played (particularly in Scotland) - He knew how to run the channels well and knew how to put the ball in the back of the net for sure... He seems to be doing a lot of media work in Scotland freelancing between several radio channels and BBC Scotland... A good buddy from Edinburgh says he was a Hibernian supporter but since going into media up here has done what we call ‘jumped the dyke’ and nailed his colours to the mast as a Gers fan (probably a condition of the job - certainly at BBC Scotland for sure !) - He is from Musselburgh near Edinburgh originally and between him and Foddy there will be some very strong ‘East of Scotland drawl’ at the training indeed... He is on The Radio Clyde Superscoreboard phone in on a Monday night (6-8pm) and often says one thing and totally contradicts himself in the very next sentence, but if he contributes positively to getting our misfiring strikers hitting the back of the net once again, then I for will love him !

It's a complete grammatical nonsense that really grinds my gears 2 more sayings that annoy me are "boils my piss" and "grinds my gears" I'm not a violent person, but for no particular explainable reason whenever I hear someone say someone is "Looking Sharp", I feel an overwhelming desire to punch them. When I was a kid, "looking sharp" was about keeping your eye's peeled & being alert, not a sense of a persons sartorial elegance.

Yeah, look sharp was what my dad, granddad and uncles used to say meaning get out of the way, hurry up or look out! No connection with Huddersfield Town, but I remember a lad called Graeme Sharp who played for Dumbarton and went from Boghead to Everton and was very successful with The Toffee Men indeed... He seemed to score a lot and also played for Scotland in the good old days when we regularly qualified for World Cup finals (if only these days 😥) - Not sure of his whereabouts or circumstances these days but as an ex Dumbarton player I hope he’s fine and well and he’s probably in years into his sixty’s now !
