Grimsby Town wanting Hudlin on Loan If we're sending him back out on loan that wouldn't be a bad move. Experience at about the same level, but with different players, different coach etc. I would have thought we'd be looking to develop him in the B Team though. |

Seems a little backwards to me; he’s just started hitting form for the AFC and been making regular starts after an injury hit start. To recall him only to send him to a club lower in the league seems somewhat strange on the face of it. 4 points below with a game in hand. It's not a huge drop. I was under the impression that he was bit-part at Wimbledon & only scored in the Pizza Cup. A refresh might have done him good. Still think he might be better in B Team though. IIRC he only went on loan to get the Rudoni deal through. |

Assombalonga - last in the Championship 20/21 with a less than 1 in 6 record (5 in 31). Not really been prolific since 18/19... you could be onto something here(!) |

Would rather develop Hudlin or Harratt through games than play Kamberi. From what I saw of Hudlin on NYD he has no chance of making it at L1 level, never mind Championship. Kamberi’s contract is just till the end of the season, so if he isn’t a success in the short term it’s unlikely he’ll be with Town next season, irrespective of what league Town will be in. |

Patience Grasshopper On a slightly connected point, I once read a great article in the Athletic on how Wolves now use Grasshopper Zurich as a feeder / development club. They’re owned by the chairman’s wife I think and use as a pathway for players in Asia and South America. It will be interesting to see how that pays off over the next couple of years. The Brighton model for South American players is certainly paying dividends. That’s it. I just thought it was interesting. |

He has no say in who we attempt to sign he just says yes or no to the names he's given |

If we are skint as peopel think we are, there is great value in the lower German league HEF Lowe to name two. QPR found a left back in the Budislega 2 in the summer. |

Because unless they’re coming from the bundesliga and have played a certain amount of games you can’t get them Loan deals then - ok it didn't work out for us, but we got herbert bockhorn, i am sure there players out there aborad aswell as here who we could get even with the work permit stuff . |
