Of all the bad performances and results we’ve had under Fotheringham, that one was the worst of the lot. To not take complete control of the game after half time while 1-0 up, against one of the two sides currently lower than us, who had 10 men is completely criminal. If we can’t dominate a game under those circumstances then we never will.
He should never have been appointed, it was clear from the start that he is totally out of his depth. Nothing against the bloke personally, but he has presided over some of the most dour, uninspiring, boring, ineffective football I’ve ever seen and needs to be put out of his misery. Up there with Wadsworth in terms of incompetency.

Surely, SURELY, it's Chico Time. Please. Oh bollocks to Chicho. What's the obsession with him? We either get an experienced manager in to replace this guy or we might as well not fucking bother. Agree. We are in a nasty habit of conceding late goals, not having the confidence to kill teams off when leading by a single goal and the man to change that mentality won't be the first team coach who's been part of the set up and operations all season. |

I can't believe how quickly we have fallen on and off the pitch since May. We can still stay up, but we will not stay up with that egotistical, tactically inept, unlikeable man we call our head coach. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but I actually think we would of done better under Schofield over time and that's saying something are you fucking joking ? he started this insane bollox of a coach / manager running a championship club, with no experience . How can you be so naive ? |

We were scared stiff of Josh Bowler. A fantastic player at this level. That being said, the defending was woeful and the game management worse still.

That second half was some of the worse game management I've ever seen. if he stays we are down I’ve held off calling for him to go but tonight is as bad as it gets and the final straw. The players look shot to me and that will only be worse after what’s just happened. The only way in which things may change is if MF goes. If he stays, let’s face it, there’s not much point in playing the remaining games. Too much has gone wrong now and there’s no coming back from this if he stays. |

Its a pet hate of mine and we've seen Turton and KKH have horrendous games when he's played them there. The guy is an idiot. |

I'm not saying he was a good manager or anything, we were shocking under him but at least they were moments when we looked like we could play football with a bit more time (Danny wards goal vs Birmingham was actually a really nice passing move) We've not really done anything under fortheringham and we aren't even "defensively solid" anymore under him. So yeah I think over time the points difference between MF and DS wouldn't of been too different, and that's not a good thing. Any decent coach would of got us out of this mess. |
