A pointless thread.
If new owners run away because fans are voicing their opinions at how abysmally Hoyle has run the club in recent years then they aren’t fit for football. We don’t need any more snowflake owners who get upset over fans calling out shithousery.
And if Hoyle pulls the plug because of it, then he needs to grow thicker skin. The position the club finds itself in is purely his own doing, nobody else’s.
I’m still waiting to hear where this protest is and by who.

he hasnt said he’ll write it off, but I suspect he might just chuck the towel in. The £30m is just speculation of an approx figure, could be even more, who knows? You been on the top smoke? You come across as another hoylebot. What protest? Show me evidence of this protest you seem to thinks happening? Townian will be along soon to tell us that these teenagers will have to be home before it’s dark if they are protesting. Not a Hoyley bot mate (whatever the feck one of those is??) My name is Andy Shuter, and im a life long Town fan since 1978. If a “hoyleybot” is someone who supports our chairman, then yes i suppose I am then. Ive also been a Hodgekinsonbot, a David Taylorbot, a Davybot, a Ruberybot, a Terry Fisherbot a Geoff Headybot, right back to a Keith Longbottombot. Cos whatever your views on these guys and their methods, i know all of them genuinely wanted to best for out club and in most cases, put up their hard earned cash to back it up. Sorry if youve had your head up somewhere it should’nt have been, but you really weren’t away of any protests???

Come on Ben, the great “ITK” poster on here KJF4682 is leading the protest isn’t he, thereby outing himself. Or is he just spouting off again?

Here is a serious message to the supporters thinking about doing the protest today. I think we will win today, i really do. We are also more than capable of winning at Blackpool & Wigan in the next 7 days. If results went for us, we could find ourselves in mid table. We also have 2 games in hand over Cardiff and 1 over Rotherham, Birmingham & Stoke. There will be potential investors watching the club, possibly even today from within the ground. From a business perspective, if Deano writes off his 30mil of personal debt and Potless Phil does the right thing, the club becomes a very attractive proposition, especially as we have £15m of future transfer money in the pipeline. I fear that a vexatious, petty banner waving protest today is incredibly dangerous and naive and potentially could tip Dean over the edge - and considering hes the only one propping us up at the moment could mean… the unspeakable. Notwithstanding the unbelievable years we have had under his Stewardship, the fact that he almost died 4 years ago and his unquestionable commitment as a town fan, we need to cut him a bit of slack and let him go with his head held high - and find a proper investor this time, not one thats full of crap and out of his depth. Just be careful what you wish for boys n girls Utft The crap one that was out of his depth sorted out the shitshow Hoyle left, the club is back as a clusterfuck and look who's in charge again 🤔

Or is it another one of those where one person on Twitter says something and it’s gospel a bit like that protest the CL14 had organised that was assumed by someone? This constant sniping at fans is weird behaviour. The fans, every stand, every individual fan who went today in the home sections wanted town to win today, every single one.

The ‘protect Hoyle at all costs’ cabal don’t care much about facts or who they try throw under the bus
The club gets run into the ground and it’s the fan’s fault for moaning about it.

If the not celebrating the goal is bollocks that someone's made up, fair enough I apologise. I would say that holding a banner showing contempt to the board, is a protest though. Really good atmosphere second half I thought.

Really good atmosphere second half I thought. Firstly Dan, you don’t owe an apology. My gripe isn’t even with what you, it’s those that just say something on social media and then it’s gospel. You’re a brilliant poster and I’ve no reason to pick a fight with you on this but I’m increasingly frustrated at the lack of want for change. It’s like it’s just become acceptable for the club to be mediocre. The fans at the start of this season backed Town to build on what we, as a club, achieved last season. 16k did, that’s the level of commitment and belief we all had as fans. People like Hodgkinson, Hoyle, Bromby, Baldwin and even Fotheringham are merely custodians, they are nothing more than that. If they believe they are beyond that then they’re deluded. No way should any of them be able to make decisions without question. Me personally, I’m utterly exhausted with it all. I barely moved for the first 45, I was so angry at the way we played, our tactics, formation, everything I was seeing - it was abysmal. But that’s why the cowshed loyal displayed that banner, knowing it won’t get unanimous support, isn’t the reason it was done. It’s how sections of the fan base feel, it’s no different to coming on here and having a rant. Fans are fed up. Call it a protest, fine, but nobody set out for that. I watch on at other clubs who’ve struggled like we have and fan bases have caused utter chaos, I’d say our fans have being pretty fucking tolerant and well behaved given how appallingly run the football club has been over quite a long time. The post below really does need liking a thousand times, i couldn’t have put it better myself. The ‘protect Hoyle at all costs’ cabal don’t care much about facts or who they try throw under the bus The club gets run into the ground and it’s the fan’s fault for moaning about it.

Every word is spot on there! I feel we are just being forced to go through the motions and accept whatever happens until the end of May. Short term it is painful, embarrassing and shambolic. Long term, we will rise again, but that doesn't mean people can't voice their concerns in the way they like. The banner I hope got a little message to those at the top. This time next Saturday, let's hope we are I'm a much better position.

I think we're all exhausted with it all. I don't think that as fans, we'd be anywhere near as tolerant if the club weren't up for sale. I'd have been outside the main entrance like I was in 2002 and 2007. I just didn't really see the point in the banner. Hoyle surely has a good idea the fans aren't happy, and the banner just seems to have created a bit of a divide between the fans, as we know there are still plenty that Hoyle can do no wrong for. I hope something changes as a result of it, I just don't see what can? Now give me some good news and tell me Fozzy is on his way.

You could say a positive display like we have done in the past is pointless, but it carries a message. The point of it is that freedom to express as fans how you feel. Hoyle will know, I’m sure but I guarantee he will not care but if fans don’t show it, then to me it’s just accepting what we see. If it’s created divide, then so be it. I’d say that most who’ve reacted negatively to the banner are the same types who said you’ll never get the south stand, you’ll never create an atmosphere in that stadium with open corners, you’ll never a proper segregation line in their whilst John Robinson exists etc etc etc. if fans don’t do, nothing gets challenged, nothing gets done. The banner isn’t about making friends, it’s about showing those at the top that the fan base will not just sit on our hands and watch them run this club into the ground. I wish I had good news, sadly, I don’t.
