I certainly wouldn't be surprised if we got some kind of result tomorrow, not at all. feeling alright? I'm feeling more bullish now we've got a proper manager in.

Colin already playing down the importance of the game for us. Looks like we are turning up to get it over with without too much embarrassment? Nobody, even with a split fingernail will be playing etc.. Still at it, even now..

Jepson admitted as much in his interview. It’s Warnock just trying to take the pressure off the players and get them playing without fear. I’m sure behind closed doors the message is very different. Obviously Burnley are massive favourites, but, they’re not unbeatable.

All mind games from the old stager Warnock, he'll have them pumped up for this one, mark my words.

You see, the difference between Fozzy and Warnock at press conferences is Warnock is intelligent and he has a plan.
And his plan is as much about the players as it is about you and I. He has a plan for us. And he has a plan for the squad.
And that plan is all about setting the right environment to milk every ounce of betterment that he can in the short time.
He's rolled out operation Warnock since day one. And I buy into it. But no fucking way will Warnock's plan for the players demand anything less than total war tomorrow; "you've gotta fucking die to get three points"

Frankly if they're not pumped for a trip to the top of the table I'd worry. The issue is taking pressure off them & not having them too downcast if they lose.
Realistically speaking, it's both our hardest game & our least important. Even if we win, they're not a side we're likely to catch (if we win all our remaining games we'll finish on the same number of points they have now). Other games vs Cardiff, Reading, Bristol City etc are more winnable & there's a chance we pull them into the dogfight.
A point would be a cracking result.
Edit: Just seen that Cardiff & Reading are our last 2 fixtures. Chances are if they're not already in the dogfight by then we're not going to drag them into it!

Burnley are unbeaten at home. Retro trip to Lincoln C anyone? Good one; they'd just won their previous home game 9-0 and they scored first with a 25-yarder. But have you forgotten that Buxton made a habit of this sort of thing? Blackburn 1984-85, top of the league, also unbeaten at home, 9 wins, 1 draw, they'd just beaten Leeds there on Boxing Day and Town battered them from beginning to end, my favourite away performance.

Evening Folks. Claret here, hope you're well. Looking forward to this one, always enjoy the Udders matches with two proper clubs going head to head. Warnock seems to be massively down playing your prospects ahead of the game, sure you'll be fired up. We've obviously been going well and have had a few out with injuries but we've got strength in depth for the first time ever. Kompany's worked miracles this year...
Those of you parking at the cricket club, be warned, you get kept in the carpark till the crowds have cleared so there's no quick getaway. Its decent pre match though for away fans.
If you need any advice on pubs etc, let me know, happy to help.
And yes....we are due a defeat....

You’ve enough points stacked up so not gaining another 3 shouldn’t cause you much harm!

But now, we will fight for 90 plus however minutes. We lose, it won't be because of lack of desire and work rate. Enjoy the game and good luck next season back with the big boys.

Yep I reckon it'll be a real scrap tomorrow and probably one of our hardest games. Strangely (or typically for the championship) the two teams who caused us most problems at home have been Rotherham and Blackpoo. I expect the same tomorrow...

At least Lawton won’t be available. He has already been partially responsible for late equalisers at Hull and Blackpool. He has clearly come to town to stay match fit but I don’t think I have seen a loan signing so little commitment on the field. Could Burnley please take him back and save some money for us

One thing you could never question was his attitude. What's happened..?

Yes he was part, but only because we had no one else. In other games he has given goals away, given possession away and essentially added bigger all.

Was at left central defender last week and had a cracking game. Not really understanding what people expect from a recognised right back.

Lawton. Specific examples. 98 mins at Hull. Made a half heartened attempt to clear the ball. Had he either put it out for a throw in or took the player out for a foul we could well have won. QPR at home. Headed it straight to their player nowhere near the goal keeper who scored. 2nd half let the guy run past him without any attempt at a challenge and only poor finishing meant we got a point. Blackpool away. Got in a tangle with other town players but when the ball ran free made no attempt to challenge which led to the 90 min equaliser that cost us a point. I am sure there are other examples but these are the only specific ones I can come up with

For me Bilo would be in the reckoning for MOM last week, decent performances all over the pitch mind, his kicking was a bit ropey but other stuff he had to do he did well, made a couple of really good saves too.
