Cue Ted Lasso pisstakes from other clubs.
So that's why Warnock was in New York, he was the bloody middle man...

The next few months could be interesting. Surely there's going to be movement on the ownership of the training ground and stadium.

It's now over to Neil and the lads to try and keep us in the Championship.
Hopefully the start of an exciting new chapter for the club 🙏

Isn’t he about 97 years old? He can reminisce about the good ol' days with Warnock.

I've avoided all the speculation threads (they never go well) until an official announcement was made. I'm glad it is looking like a clean break, I think all parties needed it really. A new chapter in the history of the club, hopefully some good times ahead but we don't know any details yet so we will have to wait and see just what the level of investment is going to be and wait until the consortium gives a statement of intent. Obviously JJ Moores ( if he is involved) is worth a few quid (OK dollars) gb.wallmine.com/people/84120/john-j-mooresbut that doesn't mean we will automatically be challenging for titles in a couple of seasons. Let's all just calm down and show some patience. We may still go down but at least there looks like there might be some investment to get us back up again and hopefully kick on from there. Let's hope they take on staff that really know how football works in this country. Edit - being suggested now that it is not Moores group so skip that bit.

Kenwright has held talks with several potential investors over the years, including the American businessmen John Jay Moores and Charles Noell. The pair remained in dialogue with the Everton board following the end of a six-week due diligence period in January but it is understood Kenwright favoured a single investor rather than a consortium.

The novelty of this lot is going to wear off so quickly when they start bringing in pre-match light shows

Isn’t he about 97 years old? Nope, that's just the number of years a few posters on here have aged in the last fortnight...

The United States-based consortium which has been trying to buy Nottingham Forest insists that it still wants to complete a takeover of the club.
Current Reds owner Fawaz Al Hasawi had said that a deal with the group, led by John Jay Moores, was not in the "best interests of the club" when talks broke down.
Moores and Charles Noell, the two figureheads leading the consortium, released a statement in which they claim to have made an offer to buy the club outright in recent days.

Dean Hoyle, I take back what I said yesterday.
What confuses me though, is why did maynard seem so pissed off with what was going on. Was there a massive U turn?

Whilst I liked the idea of Dutch guy and the methods Alkmaar use, on paper the Americans look like they can inject some much needed investment that the club desperately needs to move forwards. Well done and fair play Dean

Can we still ask the Dutch guy if we can use their scouting network?
