Did Deano really write off 40m? Well that makes me look silly, I've had it in for him for a while now. Cap doffed, and all that. If this is the case, it's likely they have paid £10m+ for the shares and DH will likely be trying to sell them Canalside for another £10m to recoup as much as he can and deserves to. I've never believed DH was a bad guy. |

Maynard confirmed it's not the ex San Diego Padres owners (John Jay Moores) Nixon seems to think one of the consortium is someone who's been involved in football before: Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko Heard one name … don’t know where he fits into the team … do a bit if I get the full line up … has some money and a lot of football experience If he knew anything concrete he'd use names than that his usual vague bullshit. Think with the fresh start DATM needs a new undercover reporter! |

One thing that is exciting is potential investment in the surrounding areas. We’re desperate for some innovation in this town, without setting expectations too high hopefully this is the start of a joyous period for the club and town.

I've never believed DH was a bad guy. Ive just read the statement and got a feeling Phil will have done exactly that. Paid 2m for 50% of the shares, managed the club very well in his tenure as MD and then valued them at Y without paying the other £2m. Fair play to dean fir sorting that mess out, although he did half create it. |

Fuck knows mate, I was looking for continents thinking we were both right about Costa Rica and the like not being part of North America. I suppose that includes the Caribbean (a region?) Central America (region?) USA (country) and Canada (country). But there's all sorts I learned at school in the 80s that has no bearing on modern thinking. God I feel old  |
