Are we sure its a US consortium? Weren't the Canadians sniffing around? 'North America' is a pretty fucking big place. Could be Mexican, hell, could be Cuban or Costa Rican for all that statement tells us. Unless someone has the scoop? Aren’t those countries Central American? North America is just North America (52 states?) and Canada is a completely separate country. No, that's not my understanding. But then the Yanks will have you believe they are the only thing that matters. Let's find out..... There are many according to Wiki (many more than I had anticipated). It extends to Panama. |

Right, so at first I was worried about us being owned by cowboys, not we're going to be a Mickey Mouse outfit. Unfortunately between Iger and Bob Chapek (who Iger chose as his successor and then they've just brought Iger back as Chapek was awful and was sacked), they've fucked up Disney - certainly on the Theme Parks end. Spent everything on Disney+ and still losing loads of money. |
