Amazing how people are so bothered about the Colin thing after a win. If he was that bothered about us (or anyone else) saying it, he'd ask people to stop calling him Colin.
Does amuse me seeing people saying the mods should change any use of it so it doesn't show up on here, or saying he probably doesn't like it or you wouldn't want people you don't know calling you a wanker. At the end of the day, if he wants people to stop saying it, he'll say so, and they'll either stop or they won't.
Stop making a fuss over nothing. We won a game today.

Congratulations. Well deserved win. No complaints. Once you scored we did next to nothing to suggest we might comeback - was a shock wwe scored at the end. Then spent the rest of the injury time trying to pick fights with your players. Very fair summary. I was really annoyed you got that late second as it made the nerves jangle when we were in fact in complete control. I thought Watford showed a complete lack of heart....something we've seen with town too many times in the earlier part of the season. Better technical players than ours but without the desire and fight to make something of it. Big changes needed as I don't think a manager change again is solving that Exactly- they just down tools if they don’t like managers as they what will happen ! And even if they do the manager gets blamed .

Doesn't matter who the manager is To be fair, you should know. You've had a few! I expect by now, Chris Wilder is up for a long service award. True! Be another one to come in the summer

For the benefit of those too young to remember his first spell, there was a chant of "Warnock, show us your arse", after he'd said he'd bare his arse on the town hall steps if a particular member of our squad scored... and then that player (Pat Scully) did. Half time at a particular game (Crewe away?) he asked the fans to stop swearing. The chant stopped there and then. I have no doubt that if he asked people to stop calling him Colin, that would be respected immediately.

Porro ,did you hear Warnock after match - Rudoni is one of the best young players out there. What do we know ..he has been picked every game by three managers and the crap he has been given on here has been appalling I'm with Neil Warnock on this. Took until today to score but for me I think he's been excellent this season. Work rate all season has been exceptional, and for me he's added to his game enormously. MOTM today for me and well deserved.[/quote Jack Rudoni is very good prospect, started the season badly like many other Town players. He's very young lad, who growing in confidence every game - UTT.

Another excellent win on the road. Like the Millwall game, we sat back and let Watford pass themselves to sleep without creating many clear-cut changes. Watford have clearly got some good players, but they didn't seem to have much of a plan when they got themselves in good positions. We countered very well and looked dangerous every time we went forward with Koroma and Rudoni. Our defending for the most part was top-notch, and I'm pretty sure we got our head on every single one of Watfords 10+ corners before they did. I'm not sure they created a single half-chance from any of them. If I was going to have a grumble, I'd say Valek probably should have done better with both of their goals. Not howlers by any means, but they both seemed to go through him. I'd have Nichols back as soon as he's fit. It's low shots he seems to not get, I don't know if he's still not fit

I watched to post match interview with Rudoni and Harratt. Clearly there is a togetherness in the squad which will hopefully get us over the line.

It’s a long way from done but you’d 100 per cent rather be us than QPR, Blackpool and Wigan who must all feel like they are doomed.

That Bachman challenge on Pearson at the end you could actually argue should’ve been a straight red rather than a second yellow! Played right into our hands all the scuffles towards the end, wasted precious time, Wilder looked furious with them

Seen Harratt's goal again, none of our other strikers would have scored that goal, his movement was superb - he starts out challenging near the left wing, quickly moves towards the centre of the goal, then breaks left again to get outside the front post & guides a superb cross from Koroma into the net. Outstanding from the kid. He's been compared to a young Billy Sharp. If he turns out anything like then that'll do for me.

A very different player to someone like Colwill, but equally as effective. Whatever league we're in next season, we need to try and build the team around him.

Is there some historical beef between Wilder and Warnock? There was some comment on 5 live about them not being able to even look at each other. Don’t think Warnock even shook his hand at full time Meh. Fuck him. When Wilder has a record like Warnocks, he can maybe snub him. Which won’t ever happen.

When I first heard the moniker "Colin" I thought it was quite funny, hence I refer to him in that way. For me it's a term of endearment, but if I thought he objected I'd stop immediately. I bloody love the man.

Well that was marvellous. What a turnaround, from a bunch of individuals who didn't have a clue about what they were meant to be doing to recent performances, where every player has been well-drilled and has been part of a collective. We look like a team again.
Josh Koroma deserves so much praise. He's been criticised widely for his contributions at the back end of last season and the start of this, but since Warnock came in he's been a man transformed. It's been a delight to watch him get at opposition defences, running inside and outside. He laid on two goals yesterday, but it was his wider contribution to the performance that should be highlighted. He never, ever stopped running and working for the team. He was my man of the match on a day where everyone played their part brilliantly. I've always been a fan of his, but the difference Warnock has made to him in terms of confidence and end product has been incredible.
It's also been brilliant to see the fight return. We're also more streetwise. For a long, long time we've been a soft touch and had no nasty side. Well, the last ten minutes yesterday showed really clearly that we finally do have a nasty streak. Watford's lack of discipline played straight into our hands, but we were canny enough to wind them up and take advantage of that. We used a few of the dark arts and Watford lost it completely; the goalkeeper wasn't the only player to lose it and a couple of other Watford players might be relieved this morning that they didn't find themselves joining him for a (slightly) early bath at the end.
A special word for the goalkeeper: I really enjoyed seeing him absolutely lose it at the end. You could see he was going to do something stupid as soon as he got booked. He can only be relieved it wasn't a straight red for the lunatic lunge at Matty Pearson's head, because he'd completely gone off at the deep end. Had Pearson (employing a dark art or two) not stood between the keeper and the ref there might have been another Mitrovic moment.
