Four clubs can save Dele Alli career – report
Alli will have a year left on his Everton deal come the summer. As a result, Dele will hold talks with Sean Dyche in the coming weeks to determine his future.
Dyche – known as something of a strict disciplinarian – will want to see where Alli’s head is at before reaching a decision.
But with his career potentially away from Everton, the Daily Express have suggested the clubs who could yet help salvage his career.
First up, the paper does not rule out him staying at Goodison and getting back on track under Dyche.
However, if a move away is to follow, they suggest two potential Championship moves may help revive his career.
First up, the report suggests Watford could prove an option. Close to his Milton Keynes routes, the Hornets still have parachute payments and could finance his wages.
Should that fail, then Huddersfield are also mentioned as would-be suitors. Under the management of veteran boss Neil Warnock, they suggest the 74-year-old would relish trying to revive Alli’s fortunes.
However, they also believe a move overseas looks the most likely outcome. And they reckon a lucrative transfer to Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, may well prove an option.
The Riyadh-based club could comfortably afford his wages. And the player’s name still carries some weight, with Alli potentially seen as another high-profile addition to their league.

So incredibly gifted but just in the wrong mindset - could have been an England great. Agree, it's a real shame, looked like he was destined for the top, hard to know what's gone wrong but it looks like he's fallen out of love with the game. |

I work with an ex pro that is a middle man for agents between the EPL and middle east.
Alli's representatives are in contact and trying to get him a move to Saudi this summer as he has been told by everton that he's not in their plans despite being contracted until 2024. I've also seen pics of him recently doing balloons at parties.
The same middle man is working on Brit Assombolanga moving out to Saudi in Summer
Also Kyle Walker has requested a move out here. This one isnt surprising, I think this would've come to light prior to pep saying that he can't fit in their system.

Went right off him after someone showed me a video of him and another footballer in the foyer of an hotel, he was drunk giving it the Billy big bollocks 'do you know whom i am' act to the staff, staff member should have slotted the obnoxious twat and knocked him out, hope he fails to resurrect his carreer, he'll probably have enough to see him right anyway.

1. We are under a signing embargo right now - so no new players to be transferred.
2. Pretty confident Neil is only here to the end of the season.

Wasted talent, his head has gone and it appears from the outside looking in that he’s believed his own hype. I can’t see his career turning round, and he is never going to be a real waste like Gazza was once his knee went.
Sadly Alli will keep getting these contracts as managers or owners will think they can tease his talent out whereas I suspect he’s more interested in his social life, cars, walking round within sunnies on in the middle of Winter.

I think his head dropped after losing the World Cup semis followed by the Champions League final a few years ago. He was noticeably worse the following season even under the same manager.
Mourinho definitely had the measure of him, calling him lazy and a shit trainer, who'll regret how his career goes if he doesn't start working harder. That was 3 years ago I think. He's not getting near a Sean Dyche team, and nobody else is gonna want him.
I suspect he'll sod off to the MLS or middle east and never play at Prem level again. I can't think of an example of a player who's had such a dramatic fall from grace who's been able to claw his way back up

I actually think he needs help. All the signs of self destruction with his family and stuff going around on social media. Too much too young and can't cope and doesn't seem to have the right circle of family and friends to get him back on track so he'll just continue to spiral.

Same career as Lingard. Ruined because of their social media life. More bothered about modelling designer labels etc than their footballing career. Think that's a bit harsh - Lingard had a lot of outside pressure with his mum's mental illness making him have to step in as carer for younger siblings etc, as recently as 2019/20. He's also scored twice as many for England in 5 fewer games than Ali, and has at least some medals to his name. |

I just remember when he wasn't doing too well, spending a lot of time in LA doing twitter and Instagram shoots. I think with Dele, he peaked too soon, had that incredible 18 months and got his luxurious contract and thought he had made it. I think they need a certain type of manager to make sure they keep their feet on the ground. They would have probably both made it to the tip under a Klopp, Pep or a modern day Fergie! |
