Diarra on the other hand no way near this level, needs some league 1 football I think.

If we just had that final finishing touch at the end of some of those excellent fast counters...but sadly we didn't... At least today the guys got into good positions and did all the hard work....finishing will come..

Actually a good game of football, end to end at times, so I’m glad we didn’t simply sit back. Really good point away from home though, think we’d have taken that before the game (and again bouncing back from conceding first)
Can’t help but also think that game was there for the taking at the end though! Diarra, whilst a brilliant ball carrier, is so bloody frustrating at either picking the wrong pass or not releasing it soon enough!
Koroma excellent once again. Headley also deserves another mention, just needs a bit more composure in the box, but he caused them all sorts of problems down his side.
Can’t quite get my head round how Ward wasn’t subbed off for Waghorn or Rhodes, he was absolutely anonymous today and looked knackered after 60mins!!

Good point but deserved all three with that second half showing. Sunderland look miles off being a top six side.

Headley is going to be very good

Pacey, strong and confident. You don't get many full backs at this level like that

I think if we played like that against Swansea, we could have gone 1 better to be honest. Far better tonight, with some really decent play putting us in great positions. Shame we couldnt just have nicked the winner, but coming from 1-0 away from home at a team going for the playoffs, you have to take the point. 3 massive games now, 2 at home. Fingers crossed people can do us favours and we are still outside the relegation zone when we next play.
