We can still win one of the next two then lose to Reading and go down. It's not quite as simple a task as you're thinking. We're fourth bottom for a reason. I get that but it's a chuffing long shot, if we do get relegated, it'll be our own fault. Win tomorrow and draw Thursday or the other aay round and its done with. I get that we're in this predicament for a reason, we're crap, we're still crap but Warnock has really stirred the players and I'm confident we'll be ok. I just don't think there's any guarantee of any points over the next two, let alone four. I respect the optimism! I just can't see us getting anything away at Cardiff or against a carefree 2nd in the league side.

I’d be happy with a point today.
(hope I’m still awake to watch the game, I might still be up till 3 watching the Selby v Allen SF in the snooker)

Selby has to be the most boring player on earth! Allen close second But now Allen missed should be 17:14 and we can all sleep 3 pts by 2pm, I feel it UTT

O'Sullivan had it, but him aside there just aren't the personalities in the game there used to be.

Really interested to see how we set up today. Do we either absolutely go for it knowing that a win will keep us up, or do we stick with what's served us well over the last few months? I reckon we're well-equipped to deal with what they've got up front, but they're pretty miserly at the back and chances might be few and far between if we play purely on the counter and hope for a bit of luck.

A win won’t keep us up. Most important thing is not to lose today. That means we don’t have to beat Reading and can be safe with a win on Thursday. I don’t think we will take big risks but will certainly feel like we can win the game.

Thinking it is a good thing going in to the Reading game just needing not to lose never seems to end well. Winning today is far easier than beating Sheff Utd. It's got to be all out for the win today and pray for a point on Thursday

I think we are all hoping that Cardiff will be emotionally & physically drained in the just over 60 hours since they left South Yorkshire on a massive high, another high again yesterday when the Reading/Wigan result came in confirming safety.......I'm hoping Town will win comfortably. I'm a Pompey fan and have a ticket for the away end, long story, mate was Town fan so I tagged along with him when we could see a fame. I was hoping today was the day I'd see Cardiff relegated but the miller's buggered it up for me. Hoping for a cracking game and a good atmosphere, Cardiff is a soulless ground when they're losing 😊

who's the ref for today....that will no doubt decide the game...
I suspect NW will set us up same as Sunderland game..busy aggressive midfield, no nonsense on defence..Cardiff have nothing to play for (except a full house of home fans) so they might try and slow the game down, frustrate us and try and catch us on the break..wemustn't let them score first..(or at all preferably)..

If Diarra is in the starting line up we will go for it... if not it will be the Alamo again.

Michael Salisbury - is he Graham Salisbury's son? Was reffing League Two back in 2019-20, now he's on the Premier League list.

I’d imagine we’ll play on the counter (like detox has said above) as we did at Sunderland. Look to break quickly and get bodies in the box.

Theres one or two Hesgoal versions, and once you get past the adverts, which can require patience, the streams can be ok, and buffstreams will usually have one. Someone will usually post a stable(ish) stream on the match thread. UTT
