Dallas TX in the 'The Londoner' The one in Addison, or near Mockingbird Station? Addison, I've known Barry and Blue since they started out on lower Greenville Ave. Quick story, back in the early 90's i had a tumultuous breakup with a girlfriend, a hot dentist. Drained and empty I walk into the pub, feeling a little sorry for myself. Barry is behind the bar, looks up and says "oi, what's up With you? Where have you been?" I lament, "Just going thru a passionate breakup" "Oh what was his name?" Asks Barry. I was instantly healed. |

Fuerteventura - Canary Islands - hence the clever profile name! Been here 8 years. I have thought about getting the iFollow season pass but the missus would probably moan plus if the game is on the TV I have to go to a bar to watch it. Town fan since the mid 70s. If some younger posters think they have seen poor football you should have been around then. Don't meet many Town fans here. Met a member of this forum for the Watford game a few years back - Paul Ince last minuet winner. Same season over in Lanzarote walking around Playa Blanca in me Town shirt looking for a bar showing the game - toot of a horn from a passing car - another Town fan giving me the thumbs up out of the window. I can imagine. My grandad was a long-suffering town fan since he moved to Huddersfield in the 50s. He had a many a story about just how much worse it could really get, especially the mid-70s |

Ok casually walking around fitties in Cleethorpes discovered a blur and white painted chalet with an owl wearing town kit.

SW France. An avid follower and supporter since 1959. Where abouts are you..I used to live nr argeles but still holiday down there since returning to Holmfirth.. Small village in Haute Vienne a couple of miles North of the Dordogne border. Still manage to watch every match on stream and my user name betrays my vintage. As a young child we had two Town apprentices, Willie Davy and Robbie Ledger, as lodgers and a young Denis Law was a frequent visitor to play cards. |
