Remember when the club was telling fans they need to be patient, best men on the job etc. To me it felt quite patronising at the time given the shockers we’ve witnessed recently.
Yet again fan concerns seem to be spot on.

That was wank not sure how folk are sugar coating that window. I don’t know how nagle can sugar coat it. Just when you thought the bromby years were the low point! Nagle and chamberlain knock it out of the park. Awful recruitment |

Peterborough local rag say it’s Bristol rovers We can't compete with the likes of Bristol Rovers I see comments like this with lots of different clubs named, and the comments make me smile. I will say that Rovers is one that does shock me a little. They were always the poor little club to City and were always the poorer club struggling in the bottom two divisions. All I can say is that someone with a little vision has got hold of them, I hope they don't go bust. |

Wait and see how the lad does at Sunderland first, think the loaning from Premier League appears to be a failing system, you keep having to find replacements every season. I think we are in serious trouble now. Every team has strengthened. Most teams have signed players, we don’t and won’t know if they have strengthened till later in the season. We have two new players, yes we are light in the experience department but I’m not concerned , Warnocks a good manager we have been playing reasonably well, just see how it runs, no drama queening from me. |

I think we are in serious trouble now. Every team has strengthened. Most teams have signed players, we don’t and won’t know if they have strengthened till later in the season. We have two new players, yes we are light in the experience department but I’m not concerned , Warnocks a good manager we have been playing reasonably well, just see how it runs, no drama queening from me. Sometimes the drama queens are right to panic, and I think after last year they have a right to and will ultimately be proven correct in this instance |

I can't believe I've read pretty much all 220 pages of this thread throughout the summer for us to sign 3 players.
Somebody needs to be held accountable for not getting a striker through the door.

Wait till we are without a manager in January and we have to spend a fortune in January to plug holes in the vain hope that we can stay up.
Then it'll really cost a fortune when we are held ransom by the clubs and players.
Absolutely atrocious window. We've known what we need all summer and it's not been done... Warnock pulled Off a miracle but the new owner never saw what the rest of the season was and probably thinks its normal.
We would have been far better off getting in a forward to ensure we had enough this season rather than risk it all. One or two million looks expensive until it costs you your place in the championship.
The only brightness is that wiles looks good and that the young lads will get their chance.

I've worked in schools for 37 years and played pantomime dames aplenty. We are in trouble and I wouldn't bet against Warnock going, he doesn't need the money and he doesn't like criticism. I’m as fuming as anyone about this window and the shambles that has been our striker situation…..however…..People wanting JCH must be out their minds. Darragh Macanthony maybe a dick but he’s not stupid. He’s actively trying to sell him and there’s nothing to suggest anyone but league 1 clubs went near him. If he was good enough for the champ another champ club would have taken him weeks ago.

That's the bit I don't understand. Neither Rhodes or Ward should be a first choice striker for a Championship club, but to let Rhodes go without a replacement already signed is ridiculous. |

Do you actually think Warnock will stick around to get a relegation on his CV? When at his age he can go relax in Cornwall, tell stories and if he fancies swoop in and rescue a team in February? After his comments this week and the lack of any incomings, I can't see any way in which he stays. |
