And then they sent him back 😂 I think Hudlin is like the new Kev Franics, if anyone remembers him. People kept taking a punt on him due to him been something like 6.8. Hudlin was a punt an expensive punt if fees are to be beleived and totally wasted. Spesh when Charlton Morris was 2mil and we nearly paid a million for Hudlin. |

He was out of contract, but below 24, would have gone to a tribunal, absolutely no chance it was above 6 figures, will probably be a few clauses, but only activated if he actually is good and therefore plays |

My memory may well have got it wrong, but whatever we paid, it seems far too much now. I have watched him a couple of time, but apart from been rather tall what is he good at ? can someone help me, i have not seen anything that made us even want to sign him .

Like i say i may have got it confused but all i can remember thinking is "how much" if we pay that we are daft haha. |

not a huge commute is it? He has just built his own home in Holmfirth I think after owning somewhere in Slawit for years! Replace Holmfirth and Slawit with Shat and Kirkburton |

Crichlow is behind 4 other centre backs so we'd receive market value compensation for him I think, 100k maybe? |

This is why you have a director of football. He can now make the decisions without any interference from a coach, then select a coach to fit the philosophy and recruit players to match... really it should be the perfect reset.

I'd like to keep Koroma but I suspect a few clubs will be in for him on a free and we'll miss out. His work rate under Warnock was outstanding and I really think him and Thomas (another hard working winger/ wing back) could be massive next season on the flanks
Ward can definitely still do it at this level so worth a further year
The rest I'd let go. I'd renew Crichlow to get a fee but with Ayina kicking on he's now behind Helik, Lees, Pearson, Nakayama REG and Ayina - and potentially Boyle. Crichlow is a good player and I'm sure he'll do well elsewhere
I'd also list Mahoney, Rowe (run out of lives now), Rhodes (first team wages for a back doesn't work) and (depending whether we play to loan out Ayina) Boyle. Maybe High as well but would see how he goes in preseason. High needs to be first team ready now as we Camara and Diarra in the midfield "project" player bracket. With the likes of Asterfield and even Iorpenda coming through
