Good move to get first team football at a decent level for a promising striker that otherwise wouldn't get much time as he's (at best) 5th choice for either one or two slots on the side.
For me, he's the striker out if the 4 B-Team options that I was most excited about, so hopefully that's his springboard for the following season.
Can't imagine his presence being much of a barrier to us bringing anyone in - striker or otherwise.

Could go either way this lad, a Bromby signing. He’ll either be a bully in League One and come back ready to rip into the Champ, or he will sink without trace.
Hoping it’s the former as he seems to have the attributes, but I wonder what his attitude is like?

When he hopefully, plays week in week out in the league below.

still scratching my head a bit that Hudlin stays and Simpson goes out, as Simpson was in my mind a higher calibre player........clearly Neil sees a role for the big man next season!

Hoping it’s the former as he seems to have the attributes, but I wonder what his attitude is like? Warnock talked about Diarra & Simpson after the Norwich game back in March. It goes a long way towards explaining why one will be playing for him this season and the other one (probably) won't: It's an excellent opportunity for him to go away and focus on developing his 'craft' for a season. Let's hope he makes the most of it...

Hopefully he can contribute in other ways but with 9 subs this season I’d imagine most managers in the champ wouldn’t mind a sub like Hudlin if they are chasing a game. Simpson needs to go play games.

Good to see Simpson out on loan. Looks miles off a championship striker. Hopefully a good number of months on bleep test to be able last more than 15 mins on a pitch.
Amazed by fans absolutely beholding him as our answer to a striker.
Hopefully Hudlin next out on loan in L1/ L2

Didn't NW make some comment about Simpson not been fit enough to play more than 15mins last season? Maybe he's decided he meets to.go out and prove he can play 60 to 90 mins first team football every week? He knows Hudlin can because he was doing for Wimbledon last year.

Hopefully Hudlin next out on loan in L1/ L2 It is not too surprising because we have been treated to old past it forwards and ones we could not get over the line because we were poach by the team with a bit of ambition ended up in the Premier league, while we nearly went down. So some may have got a bit carried away about a young striker arriving with a bit of pace.

The signing of a young striker with potential is the justification for dispensing with Bromby? I mean, Tyreece might not (or still might!) make it but it's not in the league of his last 2 appointments of head coach.

Apparently if they're strong and/or decent in the air, positioning, movement, finishing and instincts are unnecessary. Holding off a centre back is worth more than a goal these days it would seem.

I've absolutely no idea what some of you have seen if you think he's got potential. He looks like he's never played football before. I was at Bramall Lane for his debut and quite a few people around me were laughing at how bad he was.

I don't see many suggesting that. I see far more simply concentrating on goals scored (obviously if they score that many it's probably enough on it's own) which is just as much a one dimensional view, especially now football is more tactical. The majority of fans probably have more rounded views, just the divs at the end of spectrums tend to have the louder voices.

Benched again for mid table Northampton yesterday. Wouldn't surprise me if he went to Peterborough on the cheap in summer and hit form.
A swing and a miss I think for us on this one...

Add him Phillips, hudlin and Harratt all together and it shows how poor our squad was coming into this season.

We've had so little money in the past few seasons so to piss half a million of it up the wall on a striker who can't even cut it in league 1 is infuriating.

And 12 months ago people were saying he would be our saviour. I think Leigh Bromby was the only one to be fair 🤣 Head of Football Operations Leigh Bromby commented: “We’re very happy to welcome Tyreece to Huddersfield Town. He’s a player we’ve admired and followed for a long time, so it’s great to get this deal over the line. We’ve had to negotiate hard to finalise this deal amid interest from several other clubs, which is unsurprising – it’s not often a player of his ability and promise enters the final year of a contract.” Bet the other club were pissing themselves.

When he first arrived at Town, I seem to recall when asked whether he could learn anything from Rhodes, he said yes, but Rhodes could learn something from him.
I will give him one thing. He is the best player I have seen at Town at holding the ball near the corner flag.

Northampton are wanting to send him back he's been shite for them. Honestly, you have to wonder how and why we end up signing some of the players we do, like Simpson, you have to laugh honestly, you do. No wonder we are in the mess we're currently in.
