Sounds like a positive debut for Brodie Spencer.

Just checked the BBC report, seems spencer played the full game, possibly at left wing back, and got an assist for Motherwell’s equaliser. Good start.

I am trying to remember if we have ever had a page on DATM that is so positive about a player making his debut for Town - ESR? Nicholls? Mooy? Not sure if they had such an immediate impact.

Reading those comments makes me wish we had a striker on the books that could hold the ball up easily, bring others in to play with a good range of passing, close defenders down and score a goal. Suppose they're few and far between though.

Rowe bags a brace vs Derby. He caught that first one nice. Were they playing him up top in a pair?

He caught that first one nice. Were they playing him up top in a pair? Agreed, a lovely hit. Other than watching the same video you did I've no idea how they've been using him. Damned shame he's not managed to get going here because if he can get firing there's a player in there.

He may do well in future, but it looks increasingly likely it won't be for us.

He may do well in future, but it looks increasingly likely it won't be for us. That's why he frustrates me. He has so much going for him and looks like he could do a good job at this level - in a position where we could do with another body - yet for some reason it just hasn't worked out (yet?). In summer 2021, for all that I had low expectations for the club as a whole, I thought it would be the season he nailed down a regular first team berth here. Seems I was wrong on both counts.

Anyone been keeping an eye on our on loan players?
Is anyone doing well enough to warrant bringing back?

He’s being sarcastic pal. Think you’ll find porroh is not a fan of JR returning to lead the line.

Anyone been keeping an eye on our on loan players? Is anyone doing well enough to warrant bringing back? Brodie Spencer is doing well at Motherwell, although I would leave him there for the rest of the season as we are not desperately in need another wingback and would help his development. Rowe has scored some great goals for Crewe this year, mainly playing as a forward/winger. Attitude was an issue before, so doubt we would recall, but think of all the young loan players (bar Spencer), he has the most natural ability. Don't even need to mention Rhodes, but can see Town recalling him, play him for a couple of games and then Blackpool throw a few quid to get him back. I'd be tempted to recall High, as if he isn't being played at Ross County, then we may as well have him as backup. He's still only 22.
