He/Newcastle did very well last season but this was always going to be the test, can he maintain the momentum. Add in the extra Champs League games they will have to play and the bigger squad required I think he'll come unstuck, I think they'll get rid and bring in a big name European manager will experience of higher level football.

Brilliant manager. With money and without money he has proved himself. I will never understand the shit he gets on here . Ohhhh - some nob will now say what about Burnley when he was knocking off some bird blah blah blah - pathetic. Some people don’t like other people because of money. Don’t know if it’s bitterness, jealousy, bit of both.

You see it on here all the time, I hate him, him, F1, him, her, golf, Carling, the Giants, that chip shop in Hecky, etc. The most innocuous of people and things seem to rattle folk 🤷♂️ Either just poor use of language or we're surrounded by a load of folk that ain't grown up.

Done a great job at Newcastle. Money doesn't guarantee success (Look at Everton) and they play good, attacking football.
He picked up a side that I think hadn't won in the first 10 games that Bruce couldn't get a tune out of.
They've lost to Liverpool, Arsenal and Brighton this season, I think only liverpool and city last.
Not his gig but they haven't had many "misses" with their recruitment in the last couple of years, only really Chris Wood whom they recouped most of the money back.

In the prem (out of top 6) I think emery , moyes and silva all solid managers .
Rob Edwards did a cracking job last season but Nathan Jones did well with that Luton squad twice to be fair.
In champ , rate Farke (unfortunately), Wagner and McKenna and Schumacher doing cracking jobs .
Managers are only five or ten poor games from being written off for life unfortunately

Just listened to Eddie Howe post loss against Brighton and the amount of gobbleygook he came out with was unreal.."Transitions, delayed pressing, 3-1 didn't reflect the score, I need to protect the players" can you imagine Neil saying this after a loss? He'll be gone soon if they don't start winning. Nothing new to us. We remember Cowley speak. You just had to slip that into the half space.

Chris Wood was signed to stop Burnley scoring more than what he was going to do at Newcastle.
