I felt like we should have made our final sub sooner, and should have brought Hudlin on instead of Brahima. Would have given them a different challenge to the one they'd had all game. But a draw was fair, on balance. Good to see Rudoni grab a goal again. Think he'll get 7 or more this season from midfield.

Burgzorg might be our best bet to play up top? If we don't have anyone to hold the ball up at least his pace gives us a chance to get up the pitch. Til we finally got him 1 v 1 near the end and he couldn't outpace the defender 🤷. Maybe he's not as quick as we thought.

I thought that a bit of a strange incident, he looked to be away from his man but drifted wide and eventually held the ball up negating the chance. I was expecting him to sprint through there and smash it wide.

Would've been different if the ball was on the floor I think.

He’s exciting to watch, unpredictable and I bet defenders hate him. He’ll get us a few penalties this season I think. I’m just pleased we have at long last got a player with some flair in the team.

Also, I disagree. He looks as though he has his feet on the wrong legs or something - always seems to get tangled up and loses the ball easily. Other than the goal at WBA I don't think that he's done a lot right. Let's not forget that Warnock dropped him last night, and I think he was dead right to do that. As I've said elsewhere, he's young and will, hopefully, improve. But nowhere near as good as RVLP was.

Yes I get your point. He’s young enough to improve. Personally, I love automatically moving to the edge of my seat when a certain player gets the ball. I’ve not had that since VLP.

A frustrating display especially in the first half when we played hoof ball to nobody and repeatedly lost possession. Whilst I agree we are best not trying to play the ball out from the back surely our midfield and forwards should show movement in order to open themselves up to passes. The money spent by Stoke made a big difference as it times we struggled to get possession and hold on to the ball when we did. I was pleased with a point as we quite easily could have lost. If we are to persist with playing some long balls then Burgzorg must start as he seems to be the only one capable of bringing the ball down and holding it. On a different note I must admit to being underwhelmed byWiles who with along others seems to go missing in our midfield and tires about the 60 minute mark. Anyway let’s hope our new manager can get a tune out of this squad and looks at strengthening in January as we need more strength in depth UTT

Swear some would rather have Ward who is less exciting and does exactly as much

I think I agree with this. He looks like somebody is controlling him on Fifa but doesn't know what to do. Does little tricks, stepovers, shoulder drops and then just kicks it out for a throw. Saying that, he does add some excitement and much needed pace up front and I'm sure on the occasions it does come off he will be amazing. If we keep getting matches like Saturday and 2nd half last night, I'll be fairly happy as at least they were interesting to watch.
