I’d probably be OK with Rooney too but surely he’d have had to have left DC by now if he was coming to Town. No matter what clauses he may have in his contract there’s no way there wouldn’t have been any rumours whatsoever of his imminent departure if it was true.

Given Warnock has been given the push you’d expect them to have some one exceptional lined up but I will reserve judgement. |

But going from Warnock to Rooney is like your missus leaving you, then you seeing her out with Matt Hancock a week later. |
