Emma Hayes should be the one and only realistic female manager on that list. No female manager should be on the list. Women's football is effectively a completely different sport. Might as well start putting successful Rugby Union managers on the list too |

Might as well start putting successful Rugby Union managers on the list too Phil Neville did well in coaching a team in a completely different sport to a World Cup semi, didn't he? We've heard it for years and years - women can't compete in horse racing, darts, motor racing etc - all get proven wrong over time. |

Just to summarise some of the names the ITKs have ruled out (if you believe them), it’s not: Jokanovic Rooney Moore Marsch And bblueterrier says ‘pleasantly surprised’… Can someone ITK please rule out Nathan Jones. My blood pressure is struggling with the stress. Can't imagine anyone declaring being "pleasantly surprised" if Nutter Jones is appointed.
Would seem to be a big / biggish name who is respected.
If so, might suggest Parker, Lampard...
....or Felix with his "mate" Fotheringham as apprentice

Why does Parker keep cropping up as a big/biggish name ? He's done nothing to deserve it. Fulham and Baldmuff had lower PL squads and owners richer than Croesus and he got sacked by both. |

Makes sense why they hadn't consulted Warnock, makes sense with the timing as they would want to get him in before Sheff United do. Thinking the same, however 'pleasantly surprised' might have been said with typical English understatement. So I've gone from Wilder and a pleasant surprise to Frank Lampard and an eye-opening surprise. |

I've heard on the grapevine that Mourinho is getting hot and bothered in Italy, and is badly missing the climate and culture of the greater Mancunia region (+/- 50 miles).
He's especially missing pork pies for supper and black pudding for breakfast, washed down with a pint of 'Rocha Mágica' beer and / or 'O melhor chá do Yorkshire'.

Lee carsley would be known to Weatherall Makes sense given all the changes to the academy. Would attract youth and be trusted by bigger teams to nurture their talent. Has good links with everyone. Played good football with u21s. Would be a cracking appointment Ireland were going in for him this week, so maybe that's why we moved early? Fingers crossed |

Fingers crossed I hadn’t realised he had a spell in charge of Brentford - small sample size but 4 wins from 5 before Dean Smith took over. To add to his work with England under age squads looks like a nice fit. Sounds like he’s in demand but would be an interesting appointment |
