I’m at the point where not having an open mind just isn’t an option anymore 😂 From what edwards said a lot would check out with this guy,plus the obvious chance it could be someone from the mls/America. Personally would prefer someone with experience of English football and not sure if that was one of the things Edwards mentioned or not. You would imagine they’re at the game tonight so keeping it quiet beyond that maybe difficult |

Perhaps it's just me but, I'm the same with transfers in, I can't get excited by random speculation. I'm happy to wait for the announcement when it comes.
Based on what's gone before I don't expect a high profile appointment but we'll see.
We'll know soon enough, in the meantime we need 3 points and to give Neil and Ronnie a great send off.

Unfortunately, the list of top class names that would come to Huddersfield is small. The list of likely names that will galvanise the fan base is even smaller.
Id be pretty happy with Rooney if he has an experienced assistant alongside him.
Very unlikely but id be happy with an Anthony Barry type too, similar to the players we have to be smart and not just spunk money at it. As many have said though will that get us a Wagner/Corboran or a Fotheringham/Siewert.
Last 2 untested managers have been pretty bad so we're due a hit right?....right?

Who ever the new manager is , Edwards must surely think he can do a better job than Warnock with the present squad
The fans seemed more than happy with Warnock at prersent so little room for error with the new manager or feel the shit will hit the fan bigtime
I still feel there was some kind of fallout with Edwards and if so might have been down to frustration of not been able to bring in the players Warnock wanted
We will never know as no doubt more important to Neil that he leaves the club on good terms.
I for one felt the club was in a good place with Warnock incharge and also felt the best was yet to come from the present squad
I thought the club were cash strapped but surely must be paying big bucks if bringing in a quality manager

Then him saying we should be pushing for the playoffs is classic trying to build the players up (and look good himself now he knows he’s leaving). So, whoever comes in, has a difficult task in my opinion. If you’d said at the end of last season, we’d be starting Harratt as a sole striker would you have been happy? Of course not.
