Perfectly fair answer. This season is purely about staying up and assessing where we are. The next two seasons could be interesting.... And this is why I, and presumably others on here, are sceptical of the reasons why Warnock was let go. Staying up this season, that's the aim? If so, why get rid of him? Where did he say that staying up this season was the aim? What he said, sensibly, was he had no targets this season. We will end up where we belong based on how well we play, and that is down to him and the squad. Targets, especially given he has a squad he knows little about, would just be something to beat him with if we didn’t make them.

Completely made up by Captainslapper. Try going back to the first press conference. Never ever been referred to as a temporary manager.

There'll be a quite significant number of people who bought season tickets and shirts etc, based on the belief that Neil and Ronnie would be here a lot longer. A shirt? Did anyone really buy a Town shirt because Warnock was in charge? She might have bought the shirt but probably wouldn’t have put Warnock on the back. I’ve seen worse i saw a Hiwula shirt once and few others that made me question the wearer’s sanity

Because Moore can't assess the squad as effectively if he's not in the building! Essentially I get the feeling that the primary aim for this season is to assess the squad and build from there. Hence him not being drawn on finishing in any particular position in the table during the presser. My guess is though that if we're rock bottom of the league and haemorrhaging goals without scoring any, JE and MC will intervene before the season is out.

A target unstated is still a target in Nagels and the supporters minds. As a minimum we have to stay in the championship, and DM knows this as well as we all do.

I tell you what I'd like to ask... That woman in front of me walking over the bridge after the game the other night , the one wearing this season's home shirt with WARNOCK printed on the back . Will she be compensated in some way ? It might have been Sharon.

Talkshite are big fans of Warnock and as we all know, word stories to generate reactions. I do agree that Moore needs a clean slate, and probably a fair bit of luck until January with injuries etc. Clickbait nonsense. It surprises me that so many of these media organisations are so brazen about it. The public are easily fooled.[/quote Really, Brexit means Brexit! I rest my case! As one famous person said, "You can fool some of the people, some of the time." "You cannot fool all of the people all of the time." - UTT.

I'd like to hear about the 3 year plan and levels of ambition and investment he's been promised. I'd prefer a 5 year plan, can't do with 'Short Termism.' - UTT.

Moore seems to really struggle to think of what to say, like a bunch of random words coming out jumbled up. He's a football manager though, not a public speaker, so it doesn't really matter. What he does on the training pitch and on a match day is what's critical. I think he'll be great for keeping that squad togetherness which Warnock has built and also building a good feeling throughout the whole club. Definitely a likeable guy Clunky awkward responses, wish him all the best of luck - UTT.

I keep reading this "temporary manager" line.I honestly can't remember it being mentioned prior to the fallout from the Nagle tweet and the Warnock clap back. They certainly didn't frame it that way when he was reappointed. Completely made up by Captainslapper. Warnock agreed to and expected to be replaced by a permanent manager before Christmas. Hes been very clear on that. Which bit of that tells you he WASN'T a temporary manager?? Me, always having a ( pretty bloody obvious in this instance) answer again!

I'm sure a quote from anyone at the club describing Warnock as a temporary manager who agreed to and expected to be replaced by Christmas will be easy to find then? I'm talking before the shit hit the fan around the time of the Norwich game here, by the way.

I thought it was pretty obvious to everyone he wasnt a permanent manager whether they actually stated that or not! And everything hes said about it since says he knew and fully accepted he wasnt and that he'd be leaving at xmas at the latest. Its what he himself wanted.
Why dont you believe him?
You think he suddenly found out after the Norwich game that he wouldn't be here all season and then amicably agreed to stick around for another 3 games until they rushed through a decision on who was going to replace him? Then he'd amicably sit next to the bloke who'd just fired him and lie for the club and say he knew he'd be replaced soon anyway? Are you having a laugh?

Compensation for someone getting Warnock on the back of their shirt. 😂😂 What adult gets a name on the back anyway?? It's the risk you take with any name.
