I often find senior management/leadership departures to be telling from the comments made from above. The no further time in service I.e till end of season and with it being immediate, re-read it and you’ll put two and two together. I’ve heard a few pieces of speculation and with that not being confirmed as truth ill refrain from adding them bits. Wise. That could be Stoke-ing the fire. She's off to Stoke??? No loyalty in football nowadays.

All the best to Ann, always been a constant at an ever changing Club.
Met her a few times and always happy to listen and talk.

Had a good chat to her once when my daughters were playing in the kids v players years ago. She was ever so friendly and interested in why we follow town not living locally. All the best to her

She was lovely when my Dad passed away, bloody hell, 13 years ago now. Hopefully it’s her choice and she has a good future planned.

Hope she's not Maynardblue Seriously all the best in your next endeavours Ann, whatever they may be. Always very friendly when I've spoken to her. I know that's supposed to be a given when talking to a "customer" but anyone who's had to deal with Customer Services anywhere knows that's not always true.

Remember seeing her way back in 2004 at away game versus Oxford United when the Patrons used to have pre game meets with management. Also on that day John Motson turned up for a chat. Clearly remember Sodje winding up the Oxford fans and guess who scored the winner, good old days.

I don't really want to speculate on the reasons just wish her well
What a journey she's seen
The club move from Leeds Road to the New (well not so new now) Ground
From admin to the Premier League
Through various different owners as well
Few get close to 30 years service and for that reason alone she'll be remembered for a long time in the clubs History

A bit shocked about this and the apparently cold way it's been announced One thing I can say is she will take some replacing Loyal throughout and a true Terrier If its her decision we as a family of Terriers wish her a long and happy retirement

She's been devoted to Huddersfield Town for all these years and she leaves with everyone's very best wishes. Thank you Ann.
But we need to know why she is leaving. Has someone or something upset her?

As others have said, great servant to the club and probably deserved her pay more than some players and coaches we've had during those 30 years. Wish her all the best on whatever she goes on to do.

I don't think the announcement is particularly cold. Sudden and unexplained, yes. It may be that Ann doesn't want a fuss.
“Every owner, manager, player, staff member, and Huddersfield Town supporter owes Ann a debt of thanks for everything she has done for this club"
I'd say that's pretty warm and could apply to very few people throughout the history of our club.

Do we need to know? No. It seems odd that some folk seem to think we do. I suspect those calling for everything to be revealed wouldn't be so crazy about their own private matters being published to a worldwide audience online.

Bit of a funny one this...she's 55ish, so not retirement age, it's not her birthday, I don't recall anything about her handing in any notice...and she's gone today, just like that ? I'm not taking anything away from her splendid 30 years service, I have met her...coffee and biscuits in her office and she's lovely...maybe i'm seeing something there isn't but my sensitive nose whiffs a bust up... 55 is **commonly** an age at which workplace pensions can kick in from.
