I take it you don't watch the champions league or Bundesliga games. It's always been like that on the continent. They implemented a different system, especially for offside.

100% a red card as per the rules. Both feet off the ground, studs up, with the force of the tackle coming down on him or his shin to be more specific. Whether he intended to hurt him or not is irrelevant. It was a dangerous and reckless challenge with a potential of being career ruining. Don’t think there’s any being soft about it with that one. Red card all day long and twice on a Sunday. Guys a moron for committing that sort of challenge in his own box. "moron"? I suppose I see where you are coming from on that, it was a definite pen and red card, I think the guy was trying to block the shot and just throwing everything he had into stopping the shot. Mind you, having described it now perhaps moron isn't too far off the mark after all. Personally, I said that my two ideal outcomes would be either a decent result for t'Jocks, or that they get pasting.

Would not want to meet that Andrich guy in a dark alley if he had got out of bed the wrong side. And can somebody explain this semi automatic offside thingy?

Germany will take some stopping. They might have the best defender and the best attacker in Rudiger & Musiala.. Is Rudiger the defender or attacker? Good in both boxes. Kroos might still be the premier midfielder too. He was on last nights performance.

I’m aware of the offside system used, I was just highlighting how quick they are to make the decisions, it was more a dig at the FA

Has anyone checked if Westie is okay this morning? I imagine the fella will be a lot better off than if they'd beaten Germany

Hideous foul from the lad who got carded. A leg breaker a few inches further up. Reckless and really cost his side. What was he thinking with that lunge so close to the six yard box?! Having seen the goals I think the Jocks keeper could’ve done better with a couple too. I agree with all you've said here apart from the highlighted bit. I don't think he cost Scotland at all, he might have actually done them a favour - they were getting hammered with 11 men, when they went down to 10 Germany stopped playing really.

Has anyone checked if Westie is okay this morning? Don't worry, he's got Lewis living next door. He's used to seeing his team bottle it on the big occasions.

Steve Clarke has done well to get them to the finals, but last night he looked frozen in the headlights. His formation was all wrong..he filled midfield with so many players half of them were running around trying to find someone to mark...all Germany did was ping it out wide, using both wings..but Clarke did nothing. I think a good few of the Scots players will think they never got chance to get involved in that match.. the were outplayed in every area of the pitch, man for man..and in the dugout. I thought they'd at least put up a fight but just couldn't get near enough to make any tackles..just awful and McGinn was shocking to me.he was doing a Sorba pointing his arm around as he played another bad pass until he was finally subbed off...

English set of officials for the Spain game.
Could be a bit VAR mad and chaotic then.

That McGregor gadge was particularly shite, even worse than McGinn. All of their so called big name players were totally anonymous.

Scots are a bit like Leeds Turn out in good numbers, get all excited, then get trounced we're nothing like Leeds. When Leeds go to an away game the place they're visiting dreads it. The Tartan Army are so popular they rewrote the Euros format to make it easier for us to qualify.

Hilarious part when after slagging off Scottish goalkeepers, they sent a camera crew to the Scotland training camp to interview the keepers, including Jim Leighton.

Had one really awful game for United in the 1990 cup final v Palace, and Fergie fucked him off. United won the replay with Les Sealey in goal. Destroyed him mentally. He refused to accept a winner's medal, and only ever played one more game for Utd. over 90 caps for Scotland. He had been Fergie's first choice at Aberdeen, won the league twice, 4 Scottish Fa Cups, the European Cup Winners Cup... SAF was fucking ruthless.

In fact what happened to Leighton in 1990 was covered and Greavsie said he was disgusted how he was treated.

Came on as a sub, recovering from a broken leg, and scored a brace.

When will commentators get it that we’re not interested in a running commentary of their Wikipedia knowledge.
It seems to get worse.
Maybe the TV companies should have a poll? The John Helms of yesteryear, or these pillocks today?
I suspect it was Motson who started this nonsense.
