I'm not Nagle's biggest fan as my posting history shows. Last night wasn't solely his fault. We are where we are because of Hodgkinson, Hoyle, Nagle, Bromby, Cartwright, Corberan, Schofield... I could go on. Essentially we've been mismanaged from the very top for dive years or so, with a little blip where we nearly got promoted. Nagle is obviously responsible for a lot of things, but he merely accelerated the downfall, he didn't instigate it. The people most responsible for last night though are Maxwell, Turton, Pearson, Lees, Lonwijk, Headley, Kasumu, Wiles, Iorpenda, Radulovic, Ward, Marshall, Kane, Ladapo, Miller and whoever the other ineffective sub was. Mentality wise, these players are a disgrace The guy who took us to within 90 minutes of the Premier League. On a shoestring budget. This is his fault, is it?

Cartwright was getting the stick when we had the bad run not so long back, then we turned a corner (a bit) and that thread disappeared into the background again.
Imagine if Duff were to walk, or get sacked, would it be another from the book of Beswick Sports (or a close contact of) who appears in the dugout next?
We’ve really not set the world on fire this season in any game. We might even get promoted by some bizarre concoction of playing tepid and mediocre football, but something needs to be looked at in terms of the underlying backbone of the set up.

Sorry but Nagel has never convinced me. He has failed to stop the decline of the club. All froth and no beer. It's clear that there are some serious issues at the club and he has no idea how to take the club forward. Probably because he isn't here day to day to see things for himself and so he has to delegate to his lackeys Edwards and Cartwright who must take the blame for Town's predicament.

I do think Coberan is mostly to blame for last night I blame Steve Bruce for not giving the FA Cup the respect it deserves. But in all seriousness, once Warnock kept us up, that was our clean slate. Forget what had happened before, we were a Championship club, with a billionaire owner, prepping for a new season in the Championship. There's your starting point for pointing fingers of blame.

Mentality wise, these players are a disgrace This is a really astute observation and it is something Mr Nagle needs to recognise and accept the challenge to really do something about it. Since Chelsea in 2018 the club has done an outstanding job in returning to what too many think is our natural level. There has been no belief or desire to be better and a pitiful acceptance of HTAFC is, namely just another 2nd rate also ran football club. The teams we have seen, bar the Carlos outlier which saw players playing for each other and the club, have been full of so called professionals simply picking up a wage to play football. There has been no spirit, heart, common purpose or desire that successful teams and clubs have. And so it continues. People, at every level, continue to turn up for work but with no coherence or semblance of pride or determination to really work for each other and together to make the club better. I also bet anyone working, at a direct football level, would read this and say;"that's not true", "we work hard", "we care". That maybe true but collectively it can't be right otherwise you wouldn't see such a shameful effort as last night. When we were successful everyone bought in, everyone believed. This utter shower, and that's players and football related staff, are 1m miles away from that. Perhaps building such a culture isn't easy but it certainly doesn't exist right now otherwise you wouldn't get the gross ineptitude of last night, and those efforts at Walsall and against Blackpool and Northampton. I think Mr Nagle is genuine, I believe he has the best intentions but at what point is he going to accept the culture at the club is still light years away from what is required? Money doesn't solve this, although it helps, it is about getting the right people and then backing them. I'm really not sure how this plays out. It could turn round in the short term, like it did after Reading, but long term does anyone have real confidence? Just saying positive things doesn't bring positive outcomes. At somepoint, and I have said this so many times before, someone will really grab hold of the club and get us moving back in the right direction. Right now I don't think we have found that person or people, but this is the opportunity for the current incumbents to prove me wrong.

Perhaps you should fly to America and share your thoughts with Nagle? Give him your point by point action plan, show him where he's going wrong. Don't forget to book your flight with TWA... I would mate, but make sure he pays for it as he likes to pay people for doing shit jobs. o wait he wont pay me as i might do a good job. Maybe he'll pay for you to go back to school, seeing as you post like an 8yr old, for whom English is their 2nd language.

I don't blame Carlos either, he saw the writing was on the wall and jumped whilst his stock was still high. If he'd stayed he wouldn't have gotten the jobs he's had since

It would be a great start and generate some interest back again cos it's more of a chore than a pleasure right now.

We've needed a striker for years. We identified May, pursued him, but were blown out of the water by Birmingham.
It happens, fair enough. Their US billionaire has deeper pockets than our US billionaire. No problem with that, apart from the obvious "walking the walk versus talking the talk" angle.
The problem comes with the lack of a plan B, C, D etc.
Yeah, we were in for the Luton lad but that always looked dodgy, based on the flakiness of the selling club.
Ultimately, to the surprise of no-one, we end up scratching around at the end of the window, signing a young loanee and an ageing free agent.
The owner carries the can for employing the charlatans that oversee this kind of mess.

People keep focusing on the striker situation but this in isolation totally sums up the ineptitude of the club’s preparation and desire to get back to the Championship this season. Our collection of ageing, injury prone and downright weak forwards all on good contracts amounts to either negligence and /or gross naivety by the leadership team at the club. This is proved by the statement that, when time had run out with the window closed, we had been tracking Freddie Ladapo. Its failure after failure and all adding inferior players to the squad does, is compound the problem because we cannot move these players on to make room for anyone else. No one expected the Birmingham level of expenditure, but we sure as hell expected better than this.

Yet you point things out about me, that simply are not true. Kevin is naive as and the people he employes know this. Knowing this they are taking the absoulte p until they get the boot. If you don't see it thats cool, but don't insult fellow fans, when its those in charge who are the stupid 8 year olds having a at the owner .

The same fragility that Nagle swore to stamp out still exists at the club, the nucleus of the team that disgraced the club last season are still here putting in spineless performances regularly.
Infact, if Nagle had his way, Breitenreiter would still be here and nothing would have changed at all.
Last night was the most embarrassing defeat in the clubs entire history and to top it off, it was on the BBC for the world to see how far the club have fallen.
We've lost more than we've won, out of both cups to lower league opposition, 3rd in the BSM trophy table after losing to Doncaster and outside the playoff places in the league after looking bang average most of the season.
Duff eludes to the piss weak mentality of the players after nearly every defeat, which proves to me that lessons have not been learned from last season with Nagle talking a good game without actually doing much to change things.
The staff have lovely offices and some nice changing rooms for the players to hide though, so it's all good 👍

We don’t know how to attack, we don’t seem to want to score really. We play some lovely one touch stuff to escape from a press occasionally but as soon as we get to the opposition half we recycle it endlessly allowing the opposition to set themselves and then try and go down the wings. It’s been like this for at least 5 years. Why don’t we play little passing triangles in the opposition half? Why do we seem so opposed to playing to feet in and around the opposition area? Why don’t we run at opposition defenders centrally or try through balls more regularly. We need some attack minded coaching rather than new strikers imo.

I’ve noticed so often this season how it takes us ages to get to the box whilst other teams play about 4 passes and are through. And I think we saw the Barnsley herbie last night, 3 or 4 opportunities to have a shot from distance and he just made a sideways pass. They have no risk in their game. Have to follow the system so exactly that can’t independent choice has been taken out

Nagle and his mate Dave don't give a fuck about the club. For whatever reason he bought the club, but he doesn't care , therefore wont change what needs to be changed. Yes he is not a football expert, but it is obvious what needs changing and wont do it because he has not bottle. Does he even have the money to do it ? is he even a billioanire? I mean for a billionaire what has he spent ? he must be the penniless billioanire everrrr. Get a grip
