The Royal “we” I’m just a guy who likes Town Dave, how did you feel watching a professional footballer signed this summer unable to kick a ball? If you are a fan you should be raging at the absolutely diabolical forwards we have at this club like the rest of us. A win is a win but if somehow we manage to get ourselves promoted out of this league, I hope KN realises the magnitude of investment required in the playing staff to get us even to mid-table championship. I say that more in hope because honestly, despite the unbeaten run we are playing awful and our strikers are frankly an utter embarrassment. Match should’ve been at least 4-0, yes. On a nice run right now, I’m going to be happy. I don’t get involved in personnel of course, but I’m sure everyone is aware of everything, ya know Onward and upward

Hey Matched our win total from all of last year so there’s that Come on Dave, Kev is doing some great stuff at the club. But you really can’t compare League One with the Championship. We are nine points behind Wycombe, it isn’t anything to celebrate. We are winning games with effectively nine men, if we had eleven we might be able to get promoted.

I’m the last guy to say everything’s peachy and perfect. Yes I get it. But here we are in this league, we haven’t lost a league match since Oct 1st, and we got an away win. Yes yes of course I’m sure improvements can be made and I’m not getting my league one championship tattoo yet, but on days that we win, especially because it’s so miserable when we lose, I (me, personally) choose to be happy in the moment 🤷♂️ Please do not mistake that for me thinking all is well and we have a perfect squad and everything is 100%

If you can't celebrate a win then when can you! Problem is the comical way we play at times. You shouldn't be laughing at your own players inability to kick a football. At times today the standard was so poor there are amateur players that would have done better. We have a massive injury worry in Miller and we are two strikers away from troubling automatic promotion. Fill those gaps and we have a chance, persist with players who can't kick a football and we won't be going anywhere.

We've been awful this season. Very poor and no quality, literally can't think of one moment of quality or when we have steamrolled a team.
This season we've seen arguably the worst result in the 116 years of the club with the defeat at tamworth, and lost twice against league 2 opposition and of course exited the cups at the first opportunity. Been outplayed by teams with half the budget at home more than once too.
We've again cheaped out on signing strikers and now stick with some of the worst strikers again in the history of the football club, on big contracts.
We are only 5th because the standard is so bad and other teams are worse than us, not because we have any quality or stand out skill, players or tactics.
There really isnt much to be happy about.
If two proper strikers were signed in summer, smashing in goals and we were steamrolling teams like Wycombe have been I think you'd see a bit more positivity after the disasterclass of how to run and relegate a club which we've seen so far from Nagle.

Over exaggeration at the highest level . No-one cares about the FA Cup any more, even if you'd put the most embarrassing result in the 116 years of the club you'd still be wrong. Do you think people will still be mentioning the Tamworth result in 37 years time like they do the 10-1 at Man City? Or being 6-0 down at Barnsley at half time, eventually losing 7-1. Or countless others. Any result that has condemned us to relegation over the years has to be worse than the Tamworth result.

I said Arguably. 2019 we were in the Premier league, Tamworth were in the Southern counties division April 2024 we were a Championship side and they were in the National League North We didn't lay a glove on them on national TV. City was before my time, the Barnsley side that spanked us (Also on sky) was a good side and a definite low. The Tamworth result I think is worse and just another twist of the knife in the last 5 years.

Dave the thing to realize with town fans is we have in the past had some very good strikers club ambassador been one , Marcus Stewart was my particular favourite, not kevs fault because since dropping out of the premier league we have not recruited any quality at all jordon Rhodes has probably been the nearest thing we’ve had to a goal scorer . So basically at the moment we are doing really well as a team but fans want to have their main man a guaranteed 20 goal a season man just a suggestion national league isn’t to be sniffed at for talent but the striker needs to be quick , very strong ,good physically , good touch , and can score goals

If we get promotion, are you getting the tattoo?
