Has anyone won the swag bag, or an invite to see the team train?
I can’t think of anything more boring than the last one. Watching a bunch of overpaid kids fannying around on a bowling green of a pitch.
They need Digs there to sort them out. I hear he was once quite good on the bowling green? 🤔

The double sided Leeds Road hoodies are £55! Lovely piece but at that price? No thanks. As above though, let’s give the club chance to breathe. We’ve just gone down and brought a new man in. There’s time to interview him, show his new backroom team. We need to know who’s going first off from the playing staff. Hoodies at £55 isn't that bad a price. Band branded ones at concerts can go for upwards of £100 sometimes. I usually wait til they're on sale though. Some of the H4H ones I've bought for my dad have been £60+, but with some of the profits going to H4H and RBL I was happy to overpay. |

I guess in this day and age it just looks sloppy and unprofessional. It's not asking much for the new manager to be interviewed and maybe some words from the invisible men. Also someone has pointed out the fact that Kevin's diaries are only on twitter which tbh is a little bit shit if we're being honest! Surely whoever is in charge of such things has realised it might be an idea to pop them on the OS and the you tube channel! There's lots of the access all areas type stuff but not much substance on there. It's a fair comment IMO and like it or not fans expect the club to engage and produce content, especially when a new coach arrives. All this was much better when Wagner first arrived, lots of interviews with the man himself, info on the backroom team etc etc. No idea who was working alongside DM or AB because there was very little info and certainly no interviews. Duff may not even be in the country. He could be on his holidays. What difference does an interview make? WE WANT IT NOW! |

Should have done a book, "Memories of Leeds Road" or something, taking memories from fans and former players/managers. Knock it out at a tenner and you've got some easy dosh. |

We should have worn the actual kit in that first preseason game, rather than continued the ruse. For me, that's when it tipped from being a decent bit of marketing/publicity to just being stupid. |

And then it knackered us the season after as we couldn't get a sponsor! Not one of our finest hours, in my opinion. |

I'll pre empt some of his replies, from questions fed by the club spaniel
He knows all about the club, it's history ad fans. It was a privilege to be offered the job
His preferred style will be 3 5 2 (as someone who is tactically and formationally challenged, I don't know a follow up question)
He won't be asked when he was approached (it is the club spaniel, after all), so, no answer required
He's spoken with the chairman at length, and is impressed with his attitude
He's had no input on the retained list, but has an idea of where we need replacements, having watched tons of videos of recent games.
He knows a lot of the squad, but will be evasive, if asked, about signing anyone from a former club.
He hasn't met the players, as they are on holiday
He has a backroom team in mind, but they are not required whilst players are away
Happy to wait and see if any of these are correct. Feel free to add any answrs I may have missed.

I hear he was once quite good on the bowling green? 🤔 I got commissioned by a German football magazine to photograph a town training session in Marbella, during the October International break of our second season. Wagner still in charge of course, hence the German interest. OK - so I had a sense of purpose as I had to take pictures, but it was actually compelling stuff - well organised drills, coaches and players all obviously motivated. A shame it all went to shit later that season, but honestly as a town fan I couldn't have been prouder. I'd photographed an Atlético de Madrid training session a year previously, and while admittedly the technical skill was a step up from town(Griezman, Carrasco, Torres) , the application of the town squad was equal to the Spanish side. But yeah... The prospect of watching last seasons squad go through the motions... No thanks... |
