When Nagle took over he claimed that he couldn’t revise the budget which had been set by Dean (find this odd considering that Carlisle have just been taken over and their new chairman has significantly revised the budget); anyway lack of investment in playing squad aside; we were assured that he would be doing lots in the short term to improve the fan experience…well shall we look at what’s been done to improve our matchday experience: 1. Food and drink - no difference 2. Not allowed to bring your own food and drink into the ground anymore; not good for many families short on cash during hard times. 3. Shit music 4. No half time entertainment (at all!) 5. Fan zone isn’t too bad and good to see players signing autographs in there - but I’m clutching at straws tbh. 6. Most importantly: Watching largely dour football; I understand we don’t have the best squad but we’ve hired a manager who plays the most boring brand of football I’ve seen in a long time.

Point 5 ( the only positive remark) is a major step forward in my opinion. It’s good to see lots of people around the ground 2 hours before kick off. Of course, the weather can spoil it sometimes but I think it’s a great step forward. I’m not convinced that the majority of people really care to give the club criticism over the food so the only negative comment I agree with is the music and I’d add, the speakers. Certainly in the Riverside lower today I couldn’t make out a word of what Tog had to say.

In the car park at the cinema end. Obvs thousands never go anywhere near it. Only seen it as I’ve been in the dalton pub pre match o couple of times

I really don’t care what happens at half time. Lots of it is spent queuing up at the toilets/ discussing the 1st half etc. Can’t people just chill out for 15 minutes without needing to be “entertained “

Your mind will be be blown. Does ANYONE know why/what that is ?!

I’m in the blind camp 🤷♂️ Choosing what you want to see to ridicule the owner. For not seeing something that can't be seen unless you're coming in from the opposite side to the town 🤔. There is nothing at the South Stand side of the ground, where the majority of fans will come in from.

Presume because of the coach car park and the car park behind the South Stand, it is tricky to get something there. The old driving range could be a great location for something.

There is nothing at the South Stand side of the ground, where the majority of fans will come in from. There’s plenty of room at the North end though and the best place for it. It’s where the kids stuff goes on pre match so makes sense. I’m sure people who enter from the south side could walk another 5 minutes to the area where the outdoor big tv, food and drink is, if that’s what they wanted? After watching Town for years and a season ticket holder in every stand I’m going to generalise a lot now and say that the people who walk from the south side are less likely to spend money on these things than those that gather around the north end. The north end seems to be more young kids, getting autographs, club shop, playing footy, eating and drinking, so from a business perspective it’s the right place.

So in reality, you have had a moan about something that's happening, but because you have never been to have a look, it doesn't exist. Because you replied saying you're in the blind camp, in my reply to someone else letting them know its there.

Thats the extent of my contribution. A humorous quip at your ill advised comment. I've not had a moan about it, I've never said I didn't know it was there, and I've never suggested it doesn't exist - so not quite sure why you seem to be going off on something or perhaps confusing me with someone else!? FWIW, fan parks are something I'd walk straight through/past even if they were on my route into the ground, they're not for me...but, thats ok, they ARE for a sizeable small percentage of fans, and have zero negative impact on me, so I APPLAUD their existence and won't ever be moaning about them!

If you sign up to HTAFC newsletter you get an email every week re the fanzone. Other than my grandson getting autographs we don’t use it as always go to Magic Rock pre game but looks decent enough if that’s your thing. Really not bothered about half time entertainment as we go to bar area to meet up with family/friends to chat about the game.

Not that it matters cos wild horses wouldn't drag me into a fan zone, there's nothing of any interest for me in one

2. Not allowed to bring your own food and drink into the ground anymore; not good for many families short on cash during hard times Eh? What are you on about? Standard stuff that you can't take in (cans of pop), but other than stuff like that, never seen anyone told they can't take their own stuff in. Been taking my own stuff in since the first game at the stadium, including yesterday, without a moments bother, so not a clue what you're on about

Yeah you can 100% bring your own food and drink in to the ground. I questioned this a few weeks ago on another thread but have found out you definitely can

The fan zone is massively improved from what it was at the start of the season (although admittedly that’s not saying much!). I went yesterday with my little lad to watch the end of City v Liverpool on the big screen and thought it was decent, no massive queue at the bar for once too
Still a long way to go to match most other clubs at this level but it’s a step in the right direction at least

It amazes me that any of this is an issue, seriously? I never buy food there, I'm not interested in the music as whatever they play it won't be to my personal taste, I never attend a fan zone. The only thing that concerns me is the on field business. English/European sports culture is not the same as American sports culture, the sooner they realise this the better.
