A double of 20/1 and 14/1 would return £294 which looks quite a likely scenario for that combination of events. However, as the two "events" are clearly not independent you couldn't place a double at the individual single odds. Try it sometime. Accordingly individual (& lower odds) are quoted for these combined scenario. I agree with Rockwell those odds look high to me. With scorecast on SkyBet it combines the odds, it was 290/1. It was 185/1 for a 1-0 with Koroma to score first. Edit: 145/1 was the Koroma odds.

We need to get the best striker we can afford and a CM who can make the play and we will be just fine! scarf oldman We’ve been crying out for a 15 goal a season striker for many a year. I’ve not really looked at the stats, but how many teams have strikers with 20+ goals a season? Is the style of the game more conducive to decent strikers now being rated in the 15-20 goal mark, with many other goals being spread across the team. I think it’s probably worth digging out that injuries thread that was on here, to see if we have players waiting to return, and that could provide the necessary boost. Rudoni is an obvious name, I’d add Turton to that list, but there may be more? But a striker needs to be sourced externally. We seem to have a couple of younger prospects that might turn out to be decent, then we have Danny Ward. We’ve nothing in the ‘peak of their career’ range.

We seem to have a couple of younger prospects that might turn out to be decent, then we have Danny Ward. We’ve nothing in the ‘peak of their career’ range. Agree that a good season for a striker now is probably 15-20 and then spread the load.wingers/wide forwards are expected to chip in considerably the way the game has gone. I also think that teams these days are much better drilled defensively that unless your Man City and the likes, creating enough chances for strikers to be getting 25 plus is pretty rare. Set pieces are also massive these days as a way of producing more goals. Our most recent playoff season ward got 14 and we were one of the top of not the top teams for forks from set pieces, then the likes of holes, sinani,Rhodes off the bench etc chipped in. I agree should be looking to someone at their peak or thereabouts but would most likely be looking at league 1 and even then probably talking 2-3 million depending on contract situation. It’s got to be one of if not the hardest position to recruit for these days. Not sure what colby bishop is like at Portsmouth as never seen him play but only just turned 27 and seems to regularly score goals.Contracted to 2025 with club year option though so not cheap most likely, plus would they let him go considering pushing for promotion.Other then that do we look abroad or gamble on a prem loan. One player I would be looking at who’s not a striker but a wide player is Kwame pocu at Peterborough.Played a decent amount of senior football for only 22 and currently 7 goals 7 assists.Again contracted to 2025. To add think still need the striker if was to get him in though.

Not sure why the club haven't posted up the extended highlights yet seen as it's our first win in ages, but luckily the EFL have managed it 👇 Saving it for a special episode of the not-a-Netflix series... "How To Win An Away Game In Ten Weeks" - didn't expect it to happen this early so they need a bit of time to create all the titles etc.

Speaking of Clarke; he reminds me of Pat Jones but with less pace Hope we can eventually get him fit!! If Pat can get fit and keep fit, we will have one hell of a player there. Fingers crossed a solution to his hamstring issues can be found I think this is definitely a 290/1 shot !

He was offside anyway, so good job he saved it. Nice to see Pritchard talking to his alter ego for 2-3 seconds after he’d over hit that cross near the end.

I don't think I've ever been as quick on the cash out button Hope it was only partial. Took my stake back but still left a nice win. Still a few quid to the good. Maybe I should have more faith

The clock on the red button may have been 30 seconds behind because they mentioned the injury time (which I missed) when the clock said 89:30 or so. I think that’s right. They announced the amount of injury time before the 90th minute. Didn't they always used to announce it about a minute before the 90 was up? Seems to have got later since they introduced the electronic sub boards. I remember the card/wooden numbers being held up while we were still in the stands and my uncle (my lift) used to insist on going to the concourse bang on 90.

That'd be the best 30 quid you ever spent if you had gone. Absolutely gutted mate but when your 9 year old wants a PlayStation for Xmas and your 12 year old wants a laptop, some luxuries have to be put aside. Absolutely buzzing about the win Just use a food bank for a few weeks like my mate

Anyway got a few funny looks cheering the goals in HTAFC attire and was asked a few times ‘Why the fcuk do ya support Huddy Town’ ! They got the history of why and were pleased for me which was nice - Went on good piss up afterwards to celebrate - Shame the pubs in Glasgow close at only MIDNIGHT 😬 ☹️ 😬 But hey it’s still a pure fab city and Huddersfield Town were Certainly well represented in ‘Dear old Glasgow Toon’ last night ! 👍 🥃 🍺

How come Martin hasn't been sacked, Southampton failed to beat us too 🤣 They did have 10 players on international duty jetting back to face two back lines of five against Town......Alex Neil & David Wagner possibly one 'bad' result from the bullet.
