Can only be the result of another injury.......to much work on the work with the work going on at work. Maybe he’s managing players minutes,maybe Kasumu after his injury can’t do 2 games in 4 days or 3 games in a week to look at it another way or a mixture of both.We will see on that front but if I had to guess it would be that he drops to the bench with an eye on injuries and is back in Saturday.I’ll probably be totally wrong on that now like but it’s logical to assume that’s the case. Yes that would have been sensible, good management....... surely Darren will be looking after the lads with all the games coming up. |

8 defensive players on the pitch. We are definitely hoping for a 0-0.
Looking forward to an entertaining evening on the firestick with the Sunderland commentators taking the piss out of our plight.

Laughing at us all with that one.... suprise i was told was Burgzorg / Ward would start and the other on the bench, i think its a suprise (and a positive one) as I am shocked Zorg can start after only able to play 20 - 30mins at the weekend, and suprised (some will be) that Ward has made a squad without NW as the manager. Decent team selection tonight and we have some pace on the break. Portugal is correct on Rudoni he is closer than expected and maybe back with the first team end of this week. |

Not accounting for weather, cost, distance, time off work, it being on red button and the fact we offer zero entertainment. I know it shouldn’t, but it really boils my piss (which would be a useful asset on a cold night like this). By the way, I’m at home boiling the kettle before sitting in my armchair. But, I wouldn’t ever slag off a team’s midweek away following. |

If we play 343 rather than 541 then fair enough, let's see how many defender we have when we start. Will probably quickly drop into a flat back 10. It won't be 0-0, i can't see Sunderland been as accommodating as Watford and Southampton were in the second half. But do agree a point would be a good point and pretty much essential we come back with it Any less and its another nail in the already closed coffin. |

My house sale completion in Nottm is on Fri so I've had to take a few days off work and hire a van to take my stuff to Torquay.
Surrounded by boxes in various states of packing. Won't have time for iFollow but will look in here from time to time and bbc site for stats. See if we can get above 30% possession for any length of time. An actual goal might be asking too much though you never know.

I think that would have been the only thing to have got me to Sunderland tonight. F*** Darren Moore's possible (probable?) tactics, F*** the time off work (and work pressure), F*** the time and cost.... .....finally seeing the Captain trying the Ibrahimovic in the blue and white would have been worth it. Paramedics at the ready! Was going to go as its quite local-ish for me but couldn't in the end. I think Ill miss a surprising, backs to the wall, 0-1 away win....or a resounding 4-0 thumping by the mackems. One or the other. When I worked in Barney. There used to be at least one coach from one of the pubs. To every Sunderland home game. |

I've done my time, trekking up and down the country for silly midweek games and being part of some extremely small away crowds, getting back at silly o'clock and then getting up early to go to work. It takes a lot to do some of these games, before you even start to take into account that we're really not very good so it does annoy me as well that people spend their time taking the mick out of the number of the fans who are there. And yes, I'm watching it at home tonight. |
