That's 80 shots faced in the last 4 games. To only concede 4 goals is amazing really Plymouth conceded 4 today from only 13 shots In my opinion, it's no coincidence that in those 4 games where we have conceded less than our fair share Maxwell was in net.

Anyone else get pissed at the moaning when one of our CBs pass back to the keeper? People literally booing them for keeping the ball rather than booting it to them and watching them do it instead. Embarrassing attitude. I agree - such vocal frustration is counter productive but my god it does frustrate me too. You’re taught in football as a defender to drive positively into space, our first touch is nearly always back to goal. But agreed with the main point, the atmosphere is awful at the moment.

What we don’t have is good midfielders or attackers I'm not sure 80 shots is a sign of being good defensively. It suggests teams are creating far too many opportunities and either fluffing then or being denied by good goalkeeping Bristol should certainly have had more than 1 today with the chances they created

It’s toxic. We pass the ball about and as we do the players are getting booed. The football is shit, but don’t think booing them for actually trying to play football is on at all.

Matt Glennon was saying after the game DM should have asked Ward if he could play on until the end of the game. This is the Danny Ward who is injured a lot and for lengthy periods. DM is really strapped up front. Just to show how poorly the summer window was handled, and this is NW for me, this from the BBC website:
“The outstanding Rhodes put the icing on the cake in stoppage time, finishing clinically to claim his 13th of the season.“
You couldn’t make it up.

QPR have Plymouth at home this week. You can certainly see them winning that. Let’s hope we can somehow get a win against Preston or we’ll be bottom three by next weekend. QPR will finish above Plymouth so we should be wanting them to win it

What on earth are we expecting to happen in January that's going to change our fortunes from this? It's so, so miserable.
But Moore is clearly going nowhere so I've resigned myself to seeing what him and the recruitment team pull off.

We do need to get in the opposition half for him to be of any use to us. Got to be better than bringing reg on for ward Playing with 10 men is better than bringing REG on, he's atrocious.

Was actually genuinely thinking why bring Edmonds Green on when we have a right back on the bench. Then I remembered Edwards last effort, like a disabled hippo running in treacle. Seem to remember Austerfield looking goood 2/3 years ago then vanished. Had (Scott) high hopes for Wiles but he has done sweet fuck all so far. Rated him before but looks wank. A proper holding mid alongside Kasumu and Rudoni, Koroma and Thomas, New striker and 2 new fullbacks then we may have a chance.

You’d hope they are prepared and we’ll bring in a new striker, winger, ball playing midfielder and right back, all better than what we have now and that will be in the starting XI. Although we’ve needed these players for about 5 seasons and nothings been done so I don’t hold out much hope.

He's also probably the best initiator of attacking play compared to any of the defenders and REG who played today. LOVE his distribution...there was perhaps one quick throw out he missed, Nicholls by contrast we tend to miss out on perhaps 7 or 8 real attacking opportunities per game because of his ponderous nature on the ball. If Nicholls could get the ball to our players as quickly and accurately as Maxwell does, he'd be off to Palace or Wolves or similar in summer. Have we combined got the best pair of keepers in the division?

He's a truly clueless incompetent football manager. But he is a nice guy.

But we don't do anything with the ball when we have it, it's always a case of when we give it away, rather than if.

Even if it means going back to the keeper.

Embarrassing attitude. I don’t boo them but passing back to the keeper only for him to boot it up field and loose possession is counterproductive. Also it seems to go from front to back and then back to the keeper only for him to pass it to Pearson who promptly passes it to the opposition. It’s not the passing back people are annoyed with it’s the fact there seems no plan to it that is frustrating. I have no objection to it going back to the keeper but it has to be part of a plan. Speaking about the keeper, Maxwell has done fantastically well and I love how he gets the ball out so much quicker than Nichols who slows it down so much. He is doing really well and deserves his run in the team.

I thought we looked ok first half despite getting caught out down our left numerous times. Just got worse as the game went on though and the second half was pathetic.
The manager seems completely unable to change the tactics mid game or at any point actually.
Can we stop bringing Diarra on to the pitch until he's learned how to play football. May as well have ten men, he's useless.
Managed to pick up a tiny bit of RL on my way home for a few minutes. Your know it's bad when they start questioning the manager.
Bristol city looked poor but still better than us.
All in all another boring, tedious Saturday afternoon down at the mac.

Every time I see him I actually question if anywhere on a (championship) football pitch is his natural position. He's 25 next month and has had about 50 Championship starts/appearances. He's like a shit utility player who can perform a job in a few positions for 20 mins a few times a season. His natural position is alongside Crichlow Noblwe in League 2
